Pain relief?
My Physiotherapist advised using a
Pain
relieving gel - but I said they contain Ibuprofen and I'm not allowed that as I'm on Apixaban. He said ask a Pharmacist as 'they will know'. I'm not so sure about that as some Haematologists don't know about MPNs. Any advice please gratefully received.

pain pump
I went to my
pain
management Dr. he gave me lyraca and morphine for my
pain
, it has helped a lot. Going for a CT next week he thinks it’s a pinched nerve. He wants me to have a
pain
pump put in. It automatically puts
pain
medication in my body and then refil the pump every two or three months.

Pain update
I went to the
pain
dr thus morning. He thinks I have a pinched nerve. Ordered an MRI to be done next Tuesday and gave me nerve
pain
medication and a lower dose of morphine and it doesn’t make me sick. The nerve
pain
has subsided to where I can function.

Pain and Insomnia
I am in constant
pain
and I think that is the reason I can’t sleep. The more
pain
I’m in the harder it is to sleep, the less sleep I get the more
pain
I am in. It’s a vicious cycle.

Pain relief
I keet getting muscle spasms and wondered if there are any
pain
killers I can take. I normally take Coden and paracetamol but they do not appear to help. I'm on strong antibiotics for the infection. Many thank for listening Heather.

Pain Management
Currently I will take Codeine, Naproxen and Paracetamol to their fullest dosage but sometimes it doesn’t relieve me of
pain
or at least not for long and I have no more
pain
meds in the house I can take.

DENTAL PAIN
Hi everyone, I have written quite a few times on here, I am so glad there is a forum where people can get advice from others. It is my lifeline. Last Friday I went to see my dentist for what I thought was my bridge taken out, how wrong was I? He took my bridge out which took about a minute to do, it

The
pain
when I'm sitting and lying down is horrible. If I went to my GP or pharmacist do you think I'd get any
pain
medication better than Ibuprofen and Paracetamol (neither works anymore) to get me through these next three weeks? Or would I be wasting my time trying?
