Put medications with prescription in hand luggage, to be available to check and just in case your hold baggage gets lost. I’ve never been asked even carrying injectables but you never know. Put in an extra too. Book assistance if you need it , it doesn’t cost anything but means if long queues you can avoid standing for hours. On board get water and move about as it helps prevent dehydration and DVTs I use flight socks and always book extra leg room too. Enjoy your holiday, and don’t forget sun cream especially if using MTX etc.

I've been to Spain several times. Always pack medication in hand luggage. I take a prescription with me and also had a letter from hospital regarding my MTX and COSENTYX. Never had any problems. Enjoy your holiday!

I get special assistance as I can't stand for long without terrible pain. But you can't have any extra legroom seats that are next to exits. Have a wonderful holiday. Oh and take a GHIC card with you and insurance.

My husband needs to take an extra medical bag and all his medication goes in it and equipment etc. I had to get a letter from our GP to say he needs to keep all his supplies and medication with him on board, take a prescription with all his medication. This costs £25 at our Practice. You also don’t pay for this additional medical bag. I call the airline and ask for special assistance as he can’t stand for too long. When we get to the airport we check in and they give him a lanyard which enables him to get through security quickly and gets on aircraft first. This makes a big difference, he won’t use a wheelchair but this service really helps him. He carries morphine on board and other strong drugs so this service helps as his bag always gets checked and gives us a bit more time at security without standing at long queues.

Like the others have said. Take your prescriptions and pop into hand luggage. I book into special assistance so you can get through security much quicker so that you aren’t standing in a long queue for about an hour. I have it in my hands and wrists quite severe and now I’m my neck and knee. They staff are so lovely. I wear a green flowered lanyard so people know that I have an issue which they can’t see directly. Drink plenty of water to help to keep you hydrated. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

I was given mine for free by special assistance at Manchester Airport but you can buy them online.

It is green with yellow flowers.

If you google disabled lanyard lots come up.

Medway-lady covered most of it I also take most recent prescription to show I'm allowed my meds. Agree about using assistance I do every time now. Also I use a hydrating nasal spray cos I get sinusitis from flying.

Bon voyage 😎

Top tip. Take a cheap non slip shower mat. Makes the shower safe. And if you need the space coming back for all the goodies you've bought leave it there. I got one for about £6 from home bargains.Don't forget your Sunflower lanyard. And use a walking stick even if you don't quite need one. It will stop the security people pushing you around.
