Pain Relief Help and Information

Before being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I was diagnosed 200 Dihydrocodeine a month as well as pregabalin. I became addicted to both and started taking 30+ 30mg Dihydrocodeine a day as well as 6/150mg pregabalin. I went to Change Grow Live and I am now 6 years clean. I have spoke to my doctor countless times about my pain as everything he gives me isnt working and I am in constant pain from head to foot daily.

I have put on so much weight that i am now hitting the scale at 30 stone and I am in a bubble and can't get out of it. I lost a lot of weight with slimming world and I am dying to get back to it.

I am currently on 600mg pregabalin a day, 2 x Celecoxib, 3 x 30mg Nefopam, Duloextine and also amitriptyline 2 x10 mg at night to help me sleep.

Nothing is helping and each time I call the doctor it's like he fobs me off because he will not give me anything with opioids due to past addiction but anything with opioids is the only thing that will help the pain.

I am having to rely on friends and neighbours who have opioid painkillers to help me out as the doctor will not give me anything although i have begged and pleaded and told him umpteen times I am now clean and wouldn't go back down that road. I take my medication as planned each day!

Can anyone advise me as I am now at my wit's end with it all it's ruining my life.

Ask for a referral to your local pain clinic to see if they have anything helpful to say….
