Meloxicam is it better than naproxen?
I’ve been taking naproxen with lansoprozole but I still get terrible heartburn. I’ve seen that meloxicam is easier on the stomach than naproxen, and I was wondering if anyone has tried meloxicam and what side affects it has? Thank you x

Alternatives to Naproxen/ do steroids work?
Hi, My Gp thinks I have neurological problems due to endometriosis as I have terrible pain in my right leg and hip which prevents me from walking. So she has put me on naproxen but it’s giving me terrible heartburn at night. Are there any alternatives that don’t cause stomach pain? Has anyone been put

Ginger - am I onto something? I hope so!
Hi! Ginger - the delicious spice might be really handy as a supplement too. Here''s a TMI post... It's a bit over three weeks since diagnostic laparoscopy for me (endometriosis stage IV). I did my research, got some hormonal treatment (Mirena & Cerazette), and then searched the supplement list for something

Manage pain
Hi everyone! I’m currently being investigated for endometriosis. I’ve had severe pain everywhere for a few years now. I’m 24 this year and it all started at 17. After waiting 9 weeks I had a trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasound. It showed I have a 2.5cm cyst on my right ovary and a small amount

Does anyone know of any interactions between bisoprolol and naproxen?
Hi guys. I started doing decent length walks a few weeks back and have slowly increased to very light intermittant jogging. The increased activity seems to be helping massively but my old inflammation problems have reared their ugly head again and my right leg is so inflamed I’m struggling to walk.

Hi guys, I've been waiting for a lap since the end of 2019, still nothing and the pain is getting unbearable. It hurts to do anything, I keep having to take Co-Codamol, Codeine, Naproxen, now I'm on Amitriptyline but NOTHING is helping. I'm struggling to walk without severe pain in my right side, it

Slow recovery
I'm new to this this site. I am 12 days out from having a cardiac ablation. I feel, it is taking me longer to "feel like myself" then what I read on the internet. Still feel discomfort in my chest and shoulder blades. Still feel breathless. Is it too much rest? Prescribed 80 mg of omeprazole which

Over eating!!
I’ve been in a state of increased inflammation since December and now, this week, I’ve started eating like a horse.... having done some research it seems that persistent inflammation can cause a person to eat more as it interferes with hunger and liver hormones. I’m on increased MTX but that will take

Wasting away from IBS AND REFLUX
I have had severe IBS and REFLUX for 6 months now. I have lost over 3 stone. I can only eat tiny amounts and then I have bad reflux and pain. Had cameras and scans in hospital and everything all clear, some diverticulitis. I am also very constipated. Take omeprazole and buscopan . So worried now as condition

Covid Vaccine, medical conditions and allergies
I was just wondering whether anyone has taken any of the vaccines? Although I work within a hospital setting where some of my colleagues have already received it, had been sent a text by my GP stating I should book and appointment and now furloughed, I really do not wish to take it due to my allergies

I suffer badly with a rolling hiatal hernia and Gerd. I have been on esomeprazole on and off for a few years now. To be honest it doesn’t really work and after being on it for several days it makes my intermittent restless legs a nightly thing. I have tried just about every medication there is to heal

Can globus pharyngis cause breathing troubles at night?
Hi all, I've had stomach/reflux issues now for coming up to 4 years, been on omeprazole for about 3 years. Until recently when I start PK diet. I stopped taking omeprazole altogether about 3 weeks ago now. I've taken it maybe once or twice over that time when I've noticed a touch of reflux but my symptoms

Omeprazole prescription with no investigation.
Had an appointment with GP about feeling like somethings been stuck in throat for a few weeks, tried everything to clear it before seeing her, nasal spray, lots of water, something fizzy, reducing foods that could cause reflux etc she referred me to an ENT and they’ve just prescribed me omeprazole without
