Anybody ever get 'strange' chest sensations that aren't afib?
As an afib diagnosee and somebody who had an ablation back in 2017, I'm all too aware of the wonderful things afib and heart irritation can bring. But sometimes things occur that are not the usual and are sometimes odd and just, well... plain terrifying. Got to work this morning, after about 45 minutes

Can GCA flare be triggered by a fall?
Good morning. I have been on Pred since my GCA diagnosis in January. I have been tapering down and last Saturday I reduced from 12.5mg to 10mg. Unfortunately on the same day I had a fall in the garden, landing on my shoulder and side of head. The next day I had pain across top of my chest, think I must

I'm 41 and I have for the past 5 plus years suffered with general aches and pains. But the past month or so i have started to get a pain in my chest, armpit, arm, shoulder and back.

Naproxen
I was wondering if anyone had any advice, I have been prescribed naproxen for back pain and when I asked the Dr if it was ok with NAFLD he said I think so, then yes but Dr google is not so sure. Anyone had experience taking this type of medication?

The side effects of Omeprazole and life without it
Thanks very much for everyone who responded to my first post. I found all the comments helpful and illuminating. I have now had confirmation from the "gastric team" at my local NHS hospital that I am in the system for an appointment for an investigation of the symptoms which I detailed in my last post

Ranitidine withdrawn
I have been taking ranitidine (300 mg per day) since being diagnosed with AF. This has been withdrawn because an ingredient may be carcinogenic. My GP thinks it may never be available again (although , apparently, you can buy some low strength ranitidine in pharmacies). It seems that the only alternative

Chest pain, underarm, shoulder pain - acidity or gas ?
I am having on and off chest pain, underarm pain, sometimes shoulder and back shoulderblade pain. Sometimes I can spot the pain- other times it’s just the area. Could it be gas ? Also started to feel lower back - burning sensation. Haven’t had any pain in middle of chest or stomach. Could this still

Omeprazole rebound
Hi everyone, My doctor prescribed me omeprazole 20mg twice a day for the feeling of a lump in the back of my throat. After a few days that sensation disappeared, but then I started to get acid reflux(which I’ve never had before), and severe anxiety so after 11 days I stopped taking the ppi. It’s been
