acid reflux for years
I have had acid reflux at night for years off and on. I used to buy OTC Pepcid2 but it suddenly disappeared a long time ago off all pharmacy shelves. I remember looking for it everywhere but no pharmacist was able to tell me why it had gone. Some even pretended they didn't know what Pepcid2 was lol.

It’s 3am and I have a migraine
Hi all, I’m a 21 year old female with genetic history of migraines, my grand father had surgery on his brain because of migraines (weird to me), and my aunt has a pseudotumor on the optic nerve. I’ve been dealing with migraines since I was a kid. The earliest I remember is around 7. I have been on countless

Omeprazole
I was diagnosed with PMR over 4 years ago and have been taking pred, AA and omeprazole ever since. I have now been diagnosed with osteopenia and have gastric problems. I have stopped the AA but if I stop the omeprazole should I taper it?

Hi 👋
Hi I’m new here and just wanted to ask a bit of advice. Since November last year I’ve had a cough, I went for a chest X-ray came back clear was given antibiotics and flixnase and told it could be postnasal drip. Fast forward to March symptoms not improving and getting worse. I stated taking antihistamines

Would be interest to hear from those who suffer and how you manage IBS with GERD , Silent Reflux. IBS big time came into my life following the death of my wife some 9 years ago although in a very mild way had been around for 20 years prior. During the past year I have associated pain , sometimes unbearable

Frustrated with injury
After some advice if anyone has any, last week after I ran week 8 run 1 I developed a sharp pain on the interior of my ankle. I’ve tried to rest it as much as I can (2 toddlers at home) but the pain is not subsiding at all. It feels very tender to touch, no swelling at all. I’ve tried ice packs, ibuprofen

30+ years of worsening dysmenorrhea
Hi, I'm going to apologise in advance for the long one, but I guess I want to vent and see if anybody has experienced the same symptoms but had different treatment offered, or even a diagnosis? I half wonder if it's adenomyosis but until now just think it's "one of those things". What are my rights as

Any advice for very painful knees?
My knees started to become a problem 3 and a half months ago and since shielding 3 months ago they have got worse and worse. I haven’t been doing my usual walks taking my grandson to and from school and I think that has made them deteriorate . For the last 3 days my right knee and a lot of the lower

When an RA flare is no longer a flare because it never stops... How long, in your experience does Metoject take to work?
I used to be comforted by the knowledge that a flare would eventually abate. Mine used to last a few days, then maybe a week or so... Now, in the whole of my left wrist and hand it is stuck, it has been there for almost 2 years only broken by steroid intervention or biologics. When the pandemic hit

No medication seems to be working to ease some of the pain
Me again. No medication seems to be working. I'm currently on 3 gabapentin, Naproxen, 2 Omeprazoles (stomach was slightly damaged in early may as I wasn't aware that you had to have a stomach lining tablet with naproxen... Dr didn't give any Omeprazole with the naproxen so was advised to take 2 of them

How long does it take for Sulfasalazine to get out of your system?
Hi guys, Early on this year I was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis, I’m only 20 years old :( Naproxen never worked, neither did steroids. I’ve not long had a steroid injection which massively helped and I’ve also recently been prescribed Sulfasalazine and am taking 4 tablets a day. The first

Antacids not working
Been on heart tablets for 9 years after having 2 stents fitted - and on Ramipril, Bisoprolol, Atorvastatin, gastric coated Aspirin and Ranitidine, which after a few weeks in the drugs, have been absolutely fine. However Ranitidine was withdrawn in December, and put on Omeprazole. Got a lot of indigestion

More about Ranitidine
A while ago I posted here about Ranitidine being withdrawn. It was briefly reinstated, but now seems to be withdrawn for the foreseeable future. I have taken it for about 18 months and am concerned about no longer being able to take it as reflux (in my case possibly silent reflux) can trigger PAF. The
