Naproxen / Esomeprazole

I am taking Esomeprazole for the acid reflux and Mycophenolate for the SSc. Following research on foods, in general I avoid spicy, fried and citrus foods. I have tried Gaviscon both the tablets and liquid and they don’t really help me!

At night I took omeprazole and 500mg naproxen, a zopiclone and weed gummy to sleep, and wore an adult diaper. I hate worrying about blood stains and I was bleeding a lot. Helps for the pain to sleep a bit more upright, earplugs+eye mask. This morning is day 2.

I was told at the time that a hip replacement would not be considered before age 56 so in order to carry on hill walking or other sports I would often take NSAIDs ( Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory drugs ) - initially Voltarol and latterly Naproxen.

Good morning, does anyone on here take naproxen daily? And have found it safe to do so, I've been prescribed it for osteoarthritis and after reading about some of the side effects, should I take it occasionally. I take amitripyline for my fibromyalgia. Kind regards

I keep phoning asking for advice one min I get told there’s no meds to help me ( dihydrocodeine, tramadol and naproxen they have given me, all make me sick) with the pain the next min they tell me I can get my doc to tell the gyno I need prescribed something from them.

We have been playing around with Advil and Naproxen but those seem to be tearing up his stomach. I did search the forum and see some mention of joint locking. My question is has anyone experienced it to this extreme. Any ideas on what might work to help? Thanks in advance.

Naproxen was controlling that to a point. I have been on Hydroxy/500mg day for one week; trying to lower platelets count from 1096 +. I also take an 80 mg Aspirin to avoid blood clots. I'd like to know what side effects you all are experiencing.

GP prescribed 4 day course of 40mg prednisone and some Naproxen👍. Anyway question(s) - could this cough be a precurser to a flare? And do I need to let my rheumy team know that I'm having a flare? Many thanks in advance for your thoughts. Have a lovely weekend!

My medication regime is: Bisoprolol 2.5mg Edoxaban 40mg Atorvastatin 60mg and Esomeprazole 40mg. All of which I tolerate well at these doses. Thank you in anticipation….

I am taking Naproxen for pain, take tranexamic acid but nothing seems to help. I hate that no-one truly understands the daily pressure of living with this. . . .

I’ve tried most things- These meds don’t work for me- Paracetamol Ibrufen Codrine based meds Migraleve Panadol Anadin extra Naproxen Or these- Preventatives- amytriptaline Propananol Topiramate Bedranol Aimovig injection Botox Atogepant Rimegepant Even the above combined

Last year from July to October I was having Mini flares.niggles that were lasting a little longer and needing to take naproxen for a few days every couple of weeks so nothing exceptional and I never developed a cold or cough.

And once again appointment with GP who strongly advises the larger dosage of 40mg morning and evening of esomeprazole for a month to 6 weeks to see what effect this has on the acid reflux and what she considers to be the side of effect of the acid, eg. throat clearing.

It's improved a little since but I'm still needing paracetamol, naproxen, tramadol, tens & hot water bottles every day atm. It seems the little hiatus was just my normal Endo fluctuations. I think the Prostap is doing a very small amount but symptoms wise it just doesn't seem worth it.

Paracetamol and naproxen aren't helping much. Cold pack only helps while I've got the cold pack on. A couple of weeks ago a big lump came up in one wrist that was really sore. It went down a bit after a week or so, but it's still sore.

I saw GP again recently and she suggested to try 40mg esomeprazole twice a day again, I wonder if I am not taking this at the right time though and also how long to see any effects from it. I also am tapering from steroids which is another issue to consider.

I have been give a course of Esomeprazole 20 mg and will see the consultant in 4 weeks time for the biopsy results. I am trying to work out what the cause is as I don't take Nsaids, hardly drink, have little stress, eat healthily and take lots of exercise.

Good old Google 🤣 So I’m currently taking 2700mg of Gabapentin, Tramadol, Naproxen & Baclofen…. & I’m still suffering! All these meds, only just take the edge off, I don’t want to take this cocktail for just slight relief! So I’m looking for advise from fellow Fibro sufferers!

So I need a little advice, I’m currently taking Gabapentin 2700mg daily, Tramadol, naproxen & Baclofen & I’m still feeling pretty rough, in pain & just want to hide away! Obviously I’m pushing constantly, but I’m just surviving!
