Tests before or after seeing a cardiologist?
I'm just curious as to how many people see a cardiologist before having any tests and how many don't see one until after? I was diagnosed over the phone by a doctor with suspected angina in November and given aspirin and Omeprazole (was already on Propranolol for migraine prevention) and referred to

I was prescribed famotidine 20mg last week by my GP to help with really bad reflux. I already take omeprazole 20mg morning and night. He said to take famotidine in addition to this. Just wondering if anyone who’s taken famotidine experienced any side effects? I felt quite drowsy when waking up for

Omeprazole and tummy pain
Hi, has anyone else had tummy pain whilst taking omeprazole? Originally took it for some minor bloating which disappeared, now thinking it could be giving me horrible tummy pain all day.

TSH rising despite being on 150mcg of thyroxine?
I had Graves years ago and eventually have become hypothyroid in later years since it was treated. I have been been stable for a while but over the years lots of ups and downs with vitamin D, calcium levels and rising parathyroid hormone levels and severe anemia. I have suffered with a flare up of GERD

Diagnosed as hypothyroid in 2013 and have been ok on levothyroxin up until late 2019 when after loosing a little weight I started getting heart palpitations mostly at night. Wrist is swelling again, an ache in my right eye (sjogrens, I think)...
It is early days on Tocilizumab though, only 4 doses in. On the plus side; morning stiffness hasn't returned. Naproxen today... it will help my eye. It's a gorgeous looking first morning of British summer time here on the Moray coast. Go gently through the day

Advice or help
I began suffering extreme pain in my right buttock around 3 years ago. Prior to this I was fit and healthy. After several steroid and pain injections I was told I needed an operation on my spine as my nerve was trapped by a disc at l5s1. I had the operation which briefly helped however since then things

Is omeprazole still necessary with 7mg prednisolone?
Hey guys, Great news! Im slowly getting down the pred again, hopefully this time i’ll finally be off them (or at least reach 5 and below). Anyways, so Ive been taking omeprazole because the drs said it was extra protection as high steroids can irritate the stomach. Cool, never had any indication of

Confused
Hi all, I need a bit of advice..... I’ve been having a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders and hands. This has been going on for about 6wks. I’ve been backwards and forwards to the GP, phone calls only, and I still feel it’s unresolved. I’ve had a steroid injection which hasn’t made a huge difference,

Help needed with PMR diagnosis
Hi everyone, After weeks of frantic googling, I have stumbled upon this group and it's honestly the first time things have started to make a little sense... I'm looking for some advice for my mum- she has been in horrendous pain since mid January and is really struggling. Her symptoms are like a checklist

Omeprozale
Hello , hope everyone is well this evening. I noticed that my omeprazole has disappeared on my health app. I had one box , 28 days . I wondered if it is not recommended for long term use ? It's odd that it is no longer on my history but then again my app had my jab history for years and that also

So, I wanted to share what's in my "pain remedy pack" because.... Drum roll, I went for a walk at normal speed and didn't have to slow or
