TCZ 7 months in, and tapering Pred,- update.
Hello friends ! Long post, hope it’s of use to someone…! Since early April I’d been intending to write an update on my progress at my 6-months-on -TCZ- point . There had been a request on the forum here for info at that time, and I’d reached zero Pred point, on my rheumatologists scarily fast taper

Curious as to how active or inactive some of your are on here
If it's not too personal, I am curious as to if most of you are bedridden, or if you are able to work? I know that I would definitely not be able to go to work with the way I feel everyday. I'm curious as to if people are nauseous every morning when they wake up? What kind of abdominal pain they have

GCA at young age?
Hello, I have been suffering from symptoms over the last few weeks and I am struggling to get any progress with hospitals. I am 26 years old and I have never had any issues with headaches in my life. As a bit of background I have probably just had the most stressful year of my life and one of my aunties

In pain, in tears and alone.
Hi I’m at the end of my tether, in pain, in tears and alone. My family busy and my friends in invisible illness group are lovely but we just meet once a week and I don’t want to be a moaner in the group especially as they all have their own health problems. Anyway I’m waiting for kidney stone removal

Proton Pump Inhibitors / Ibrance interaction
One of the key phrases we want to hear every three months is 'No progression'. The longer we can get out of a particular line of treatment the better. So I was somewhat alarmed to read various reports which show that proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole and lansoprazole can significantly affect
