Why me? Not an exercise in self pity, but an objective analysis of how I think GCA got me.
Anyone had similar scenarios? I really do think it is stress, and not always bad stress. Me? Lived my life 100 miles an hour and loved it. I was a computer project manager with a brilliant team developing Internet projects and an award-winning Intranet system ( Intranet was small web just developed

Naproxen Stocks....
I cant get my prescription fulfilled as there are no stocks available tonight ...and am told the price from wholesalers is being quadrupled?? Is this a sign of things to come with Brexit and the need to negotiate new medicine prices. My GP is at a loss...

Which pain killers?
Over the last two days my pain has changed. I started with symptoms a year ago and after initial suspicions on Lupus, my diagnosis is now Fibromyalgia. I've been feeling 90% well since May and controlled my pain with paracetamol at night only. For the last 2 days I've had sharp pains from my shoulders

RA, Gluten and Leaky Gut
I’m so very confused! I was diagnosed with RA and was given Naproxen (despite being given this before and no effect, they didnt listen to me) I’ve been asked to go on a gluten free diet, as Gluten may be my trigger. But does Naproxen has gluten in? Not only that, I have 9/10 symptoms of leaky gut..

How to ease the pain
Has anyone managed to find a way to help with the pain? Doctors have put me on a few different painkillers over the last 2 year's, from Co-dydramol, naproxen, codine combined with paracetamol. Now I'm on Mefamics and I just can't fight through this pain anymore. ☹ was woundering if anyone had found

Continual problems.
After seeing a rheumatologist privately on the 4th October I have continued to have a flare. All of my joints are in excruciating pain and taking naproxen doesn't help. My eyes are still bothering me too. I have never been in so much pain. My problem is that I need to be on medication to dampen the

Possible Urinary Endometriosis
Hi all, Long and complicated story about diagnosis and an operation but basically I don’t think it helped. I have cerebral palsy and have had since birth but what I didn’t see coming was when I started off with heavy periods from the age of 13 and my GP started me on Mefanamic Acid which didn’t help

Glans still hyper sensitive after circumcision op 6 weeks ago. Help?
I am in my mid 20s and had a circumcision 6 weeks ago for medical reasons. I've read everywhere online that it takes just a few weeks for everything to be healed and to be able to wear clothes again. However, I still seem to be unable to wear any underwear or clothes 6 weeks after my operation due to

Completely fed up now
I'm really starting to get low now about this constant pain without a diagnosis and nothing seems to stop the pain. I went to a different gp but he only gave me naproxen and they do nothing to reduce the pain. My next appointment is in January with a Gynae and I'm still waiting for a pain clinic letter

Endometriosis advice please
Hi all, love reading your posts each morning on the bus to work, they give me hope and reassurance that life isn’t just rubbish for me but for lots of us and that there is a light at the end of this tunnel for many. We have been trying to conceive for almost 3 years with no luck at all, had bloods showing

What pain killers can I use after HA and stents
Is there really no solution for a chronic pain sufferer (back, shoulder and neck pain)who was on NSAID for 26 years. Had heart attack and 4 stents, now allowed NO NSAIDs. Quality of life is suffering more with the pain than the HA. Diclofenec was the most successful of the anti inflammatory s but I have

Hope! Cannabis Oil
Hi all! I wanted to share that I have been using cannabis oil and cannabis skin based products for almost 2 months now with some wonderful feedback. I have Scleroderma. I haven't taken painkillers since I started the oil - I was originally on Naproxen, which some of you know, comes with unpleasant side
