Any advice for pain for a broken shoulder
I will try not to offend anyone haha. Could anyone give me some advice for my husband? 3 weeks ago he had a nasty fall playing walking football he is 73 years old and very fit. He broke his shoulder, bruised his ribs and his arm turned black and blue. Since then he has been to orthopedics to check

Lupus rash? And symptoms
Extreme fatigue,
muscle
and joint
pain
, face rash, dry hair (even my hairdresser commented it had never been like it before), headaches, raynauds. I've had multiple visits to the GP, who thinks I have fibromyalgia/cfs. I had a negative ana blood test.

40mg melatonin 1 night
Dad accidentally took 40mg of melatonin last night (4 pills, 10mg each). He thought they were pain killers. Ugh. He already has insomnia, severe sleep apnea, neck and back pain + nerve pain. Is 40mg of melatonin in one night life threatening????? Should I be concerned? He's moving. But complaining

Staying on prednisolone
To be honest I have had so much
muscle
and joint
pain
since coming off pred it would be a relief to go back on a small dose. I have also had a slight flare up so I think my consultant will be putting me back on it when I see him in February .

Monocular Vision Pain
Good evening, I lost sight in my right eye from a freak accident in January. I'm having constant eye pain in the good eye, I have seen many consultants that have examined the eye and unable to identify anything that could be causing the pain. I use eye drops daily, eye gel and many pain killers

Duloxetine - cold turkey and afterwards?
The worst withdrawal symptom for me has been the dizzying tinnitus and other auditory hallucinations but as that is subsiding now, I am controlling my joint &

with just 4 paracetamols a day at present. I am however feeling rather fragile!

pain
(esp. in neck), absurd anxiety around everything, all only since my thyroid. Presently on 100mcg, waiting on a blood test since my Endo forgot to send my GP a letter indicating what needs testing.

My heart is broken. My dad’s cancer had progressed, he has started chemo but overall is very unwell. He’s lost almost 30 pounds in the last few months and is having a lot of pain. We have to help him with getting out of the bed and at times putting on his shoes and clothes. All the pain medicine he used

Unexplained headaches
Had to see a private rheumie earlier this year for PMR diagnosis as nhs rheumie and GP were trying to say I had fibromyalgia. Was told to start on 10mgs of pred for one week and if that didn’t help was to increase to 15mgs and start on usual nhs method of tapering. I did have to go to the 15 mgs and

gallbladder post surgery
I’m recovering from gallbladder surgery, the op was a breeze and no more pain, I’ve stopped with the painkillers as they just made me dizzy , my bowels have been a bit all over but seem to be settling down and hope it was just down to anesthetic. Problems with neck causing shoulder and arm pains
I have been back and forwards to the doctors over the past couple of years with a suspected torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. PEG/RIG feeding tubes
Hi chaps, question for you. My wife has now had MSA since 2016 so is a fair way into it. She has the usual problems and is now too late for PEG tubes, however, it still might be possible for a RIG set up. She no longer eats much so I make her diet high in calories etc, drinking is sort of ok for now.
