Hi folks 🤗 just thought I'd update you on how my training is going. Today I'm up to 6k run I could pinch myself as never thought I'd get to do anything like that again!! Feeling good though wee bit knee trouble now and then. But nothing a pain killer and deep heat can sort. I'm joining a park run group this Saturday so running with other people should be a big help I hope. Tho don't mind on my own as earbuds and music. Not had wee 👁️ eye op yet hope it's soon. Well hope your all doing well. Love to all..❤️❤️❤️x

Good for you! I would love to be able to do a 6k run without having to worry about my angina.
I hope you enjoy running and training with the others on Saturday. Hopefully the weather will be on your side. It’s been raining where I am.

With your knees if they are like mine the physio gave me a bunch of exercises after a call, they strengthen what was needed and I have had no issues for 18 months. Worth a try as they only take about 15m to do 4-5 times a week
Good luck it just shows what you can do if you put your mind to it, I know it’s not good for those who just can’t do much in the way of exercise, however, “motion is lotion” keep moving! As a runner it gets tougher and at 73 the times are slower all the best
