Is Ozempic .5mg safe for CKD Stage 2 patient?
I easily get tired, belching, constipation, gerd,
muscle
pain
that feels like i am about to get flu. I don't know if is just me or these are the common side effects of Ozempic. Also, I read somewhere that it could also causes CKI.

In so much pain and feeling poorly
Hi folks, Last Friday while squeazing the edge of the mattress into the corner of a fitted sheet I had an excruciating shooting pain across the middle of my back. After that I could barely do anything without serious pain. Ever since, I've been falling asleep all day, had nausea, bloating & painful

Burning sensation in esophagus
This is a random question. I recently took a painkiller (coated Nurophen) for a headache without water and suffered a burning sensation as a result in my esophgus. Not sure if this was because RA does have side effect of dry mouth sometimes or if my esophgus is now inflamed due to my RA but I’m continuing

Since getting PMR I can exercise without any issues but find I suffer from
muscle
pain
and soreness for the remaining of the day. Are there any ideas out there that would give me a bit cardio daily without suffering for the rest of the day?

hi all. Back! surgery went ahead, and my horrible tumour is now gone. It will be a while though before i dont need bandages, but….. It … is… gone! I managed to spend just one night in hospital, and shocked I think everyone by recovering from a pretty heavy anaesthetic in almost record time. Medical

Wish I hadn’t got Fibro diagnosis. Doctors won’t listen now
I’ve had back trouble since my early twenties. I’m in my 50s now. From time to time I put my back out. I usually get stronger painkillers for a week or so until my back rights itself. Now I have a fibromyalgia diagnosis doctor will not give me anything at all. I’m stuck in bed. Can’t move can’t sleep

Newly diagnosed PMR
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with PMR as recently as Friday 20th October 2 days after my 58th birthday. My symptoms started in July with neck pain which quickly spread till I was in so much pain, I couldn't get up the stairs without a handrail. My Inflammation levels in August were 16 which is why

Zapain analgesic
Hi I have recently managed to stop my pred after decreasing by 1mg every couple of months and finally by 0.5 -0mg. This took me about a year I would say down from 9mg. My question is regarding Zapain 30/500 … I have been getting stiffness and pains in all my muscles but I don’t know if it is the polymyalgia

ibuprofen
I have back
pain
from a
muscle
strain. I read - too late - that you shouldn’t take ibuprofen if you are on Corticosteroids. I am on 7.5 mgs. Can I ignore that for a few days. Or is that very unwise? Thanks as always.

Hi all I’m new here. I’m really struggling and don’t know what to do. I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago at the age of 28 due to severe endometriosis and multiple surgeries. Further update on flare or muscle pain
Having made several visits to GP about back pain, I ended up being admitted to A and E 3 weeks ago because my blood pressure was 200plus/100plus, spent 24 hours sat in a wheelchair. This was after a 4 hour wait for ambulance in the early hours. Eventually moved to Acute Medical, the consultant there doubled

PMR UPDATE
Just get you up to speed. I found that 15mg of pred was relieving pain I had been experiencing for a year. I did not believe it was PMR because it presented differently then the last time. The pain is not bilateral. But my inflamation marks have been high for a long time. The relief has been so amazing

Nausea wristbands?
Hi! Has anyone tried and had any luck with using those travel pressure points wristbands normally used for travel sickness? I often feel nauseous, usually for the first few hours of the day and have tried ginger, painkillers, sleep and eating with no luck! Thanks in advance

NSAID's (like Ibuprofen) with Apixaban
Like all senior citizens I get bouts of
muscle
pain
. Ibuprofen is not recommended because of the risk of intestinal bleeding, though I have taken it for short periods and it works really well. Are there any Anti Inflammatory drugs that you can take safely with Apixaban ? Advice appreciated.
