Muscle pain

Hi, I had a heart attack and stents fitted eight months ago. I've started getting pains in the muscles of both arms. Could it be the statins? I am on 80mg Atorvastatin each day. Anyone else had anything similar?

As a long time PMR’r 6 years, can I please just ask if anyone has had muscle pain at the back of the knee above calf area? I’ve got ongoing discomfort in my buttocks/back of thighs but never had the calf symptom before.

I developed severe loss of muscle strength about 15 years back followed on by extreme arm muscle pain - so severe I cannot even take a BP test or use my arms for anything Has anyone tried black seed oil atall, just wondering and looking for answers . Thanks

When I mention aches and pain I get due to fibro to my gp and i said the muscle pain in my legs was really bad and prevented me sleeping properly, she told me fibro does not cause muscle pain.

Recently I am struggling with muscle pain which I know can be a fibro symptom, I keep myself moving but at times I just want to lay down and cry .

It reminds me of the severe muscle pain when I first had Lupron, but it is lasting longer.

Hi, I wonder if anyone uses a TENS machine for hip and let muscle pain if you also have AFl or AFib? Because of taking blood thinners, most 'normal' painkillers are ruled out because they contain NSAIDs, leaving only really paracetamol for general pain.

I am getting pretty debilitating muscle pain in my core - around my groin and up above. I think maybe these are my rectus abdominis muscles. It’s strange because it has happened before and I don’t’ recall doing anything to cause it.

I have reacted to Ator… and Rosu… by getting pain and weakened/sensitive muscles in the lower arms. It is so weak that i can not hold a phone for long and if i hold a piece of paper for more than a minute it becomes weak and aches to the point of dropping it. It affects my physical functional strength

At night I get to sleep ok but awaken after 2hrs ISH with severe muscle pain in the upper shoulders and lower back, as soon as I get out of bed and move around a bit, go to toilet for eg, the pain goes away considerably, enough for me to get back to sleep, my theory is, when I am asleep my heart rate

But I noticed something very odd - as the ferritin increased so did restless legs end muscle pain also increase. Coincidence? Wish I knew. A few years back with ferritin levels at 800 I started donating blood and when ferritin was below 300 the fibro pain was much less as well.

following a discussion here about statins and muscle pain I’ve had a gp appointment. She agrees the pain could be either PMR, spinal issues ( I had lumbar laminectomy 4 years ago) or Avarostatin which was doubled in dose in June.

can Liothyronine cause muscke pain even if levels aren’t high?

So today I have taken Iodine tablets instead to help my Thyroid instead of taking these tablets to make me suffer with sleepiness and muscle pain and weakness.

My leg muscles feel strange. It is a combination of weakness and burning, and then I just have to sit. I don't feel I can stand any longer. I was just Dx'd in September, but I'm pretty sure it has been with me for a while. Is this the course of PD? Is this part of the package? Would it help if I tried

From what I have read, this is used to relieve joint and muscle pain, and also improve circulation.

Im already on enough tablets for ongoing breathing problems and a partially collapsed lung from pneumonia i don't really want to take anymore have chronic pain and heard statins can give you muscle pain. Help

I have terrible joint pain ,muscle pain and severe fatigue that comes and goes. My last bout lasted 6 weeks of felling like my body been filled with concrete. Can't keep my eyes open and just pain all over my body.
