53, Bleeding on HRT and history of Endo
I am 53, post menopausal and been on combined continuous HRT (patches and pills, 75mg patches, 100mg pills) for nearly two years with no problem, my menopause symptoms were HORRENDOUS and the HRT solved them almost overnight…. then a month ago I started heavy bleeding and it hasn’t stopped since, every

Have I made a mistake
I posted last weekend about having lower back pain and being sick after taking my pred. Apologies for the long post. The pain in my lower back and side has continued and moved down the front of my leg which is numb. I saw the GP who said I had a trapped nerve to take painkillers and if no better

So here I am, lying on the bed in a villa in menorca. My T9 compression fracture is back in pain with avengence! Saw doc on 2nd day here but pain killers he gave me are no good. So messaged him today asking for morphine to get me through 2 more days and flight home on Sunday. Don't know what I'll do

Hi everyone, thank you for reading. I'm now 2.5 years post transplant for myelofibrosis. My treatment was very intense which had left me with alot of long term issues. One of which is extensive nerve damage, ive worked with a pharmacist to get the best optimal (tolerated) dose of pregablin (now75mg

What is the feeling about TAVI? I read it is riskier than SAVR, also pain medication not so keen on epidurals Sandra

Could this be PMR?
Hi there. I have been lurking in the background for a while. I have OA and in fact had both hips replaced-2014 and 2021 to great effect!! However for the past 2 years or so I have had various rounds of physio to try and resolve a stiff neck and sciatic pain. No real relief and Ibruprofen doesn’t help

Thinking about giving up on diagnosis
Hi everyone. I finally had my first consultation at an endometriosis specialist centre. I saw a female doctor for the first time ever since my problems started a few years ago, which was nice. She couldn't believe that my GP surgery wouldn't let me continue with the combined pill and said I would HAVE

Pernicious anaemia, no stomach acid and pain
I think about trying digestive enzymes but don't know where to start. My question is whether my widespread joint and
muscle
pain
is linked to my pernicious anaemia or my lack of stomach acid which I presume can cause nutrient deficiencies.

Ablation
I had a liver oblation. The lesion was 3.2 cm. 4 days have already passed. I have acute pain with any movement and breathing. A strong painkiller helps. Is it normal for there to be no improvement after 4 days? If anyone has had such a procedure and could share their experience?
