Raising Ferritin & Advice on Iron
How do we raise ferritin but not the other Iron labs? A few of my iron markers are over range apart from my Ferritin! I know this needs to be & stay at lease over 70/80 for good conversion & hair growth. It was up at 100 at the beg of Feb & other Iron labs were in range. Has anybody else had results

Test Results, low temp, no weight loss
Hello All, Down below is the story, but I got my results back: Maybe my Free t3 is still too high to see weight loss? It's free t3: 4.5 (range is 2.0-4.4), free t4: 1.60 (range is 0.8-1.6), tsh 0.840 (range is 0.45-5.40). Does this mean that I'm converting into t3 good and don't need to consider taking

Raising Ferritin but not other iron markers?
Just got my bloods back and a few of my iron markers are over range apart from my Ferritin! Grrrr! This is the only one I was really interested in boosting due to hair loss. It was up at 100 at the beg of Feb. I was taking 2 Florisene tablets but have cut down to 1 as I am now taking Pregnacare New

Getting More Blood Work Done
Hello All, I'm going to be going in again and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for what to get done on my blood work. I have Hashimotos and have been on 125 mcg of Levothyroxine for about two months now. I have the perfect amount of energy, no more drowsiness or brain fog and my hair has stopped

Charley horse
Hey all, Yesterday when I woke up to my alarm I had the worst charley horse I've ever had in my entire life. It brought tears to my eyes even though it only lasted for 20-30 seconds. The weird part is that it happened the very second I moved to get up. Now, the next morning, it still is sore and stiff

Help with results and advice please
First of all I apologise in advance for the long post but I really would value your opinions before I am due to see an endo next week. I started with digestive difficulties and fatigue some 20yrs ago after a long period of looking after an older sick child having had a new baby. When things settled

Feeling tired after illness - supplement suggestions?
Hello everyone, I've been getting over some kind of spring bug for the past couple of weeks - nothing serious but feeling generally under the weather, sore throat, nausea, occasional headaches, occasion temperatures, all fairly standard stuff. It's a bug that seems to have done the rounds at work.

Folate upper limit
Is there an acceptable upper limit for folate? My most recent result just says >24 ng/ml on the letter but a previous test result has the range at 3.3/99999.0 ng/ml and another at 4.6-18.7ug/l All very confusing I'm debating whether to stop my multivitamin even though it only has 200mcg or folic acid

I'm new. Need help interpreting results.
Back in the beginning of February I experienced some intense Post-exertional Malaise and things have gone down hill with my energy levels from that point. I've not been diagnosed with anything at the moment- with repeated visits to various doctors telling me I don't have any problems. However, I know

Help with understanding serum folate test result please?
Hi i have pernicious anemia and Hashimoto's and am being treated for both on the NHS. I also take extra b12 injections with the guidance of a private GP because my b12 was horrendously low (30) at diagnosis and my NHS GP overlooked the every other day protocol. I was iron and vit d deficient as well

Gabapentine+nsaid+Tizanidine Chronic backpain
Hi there! I was a few years back diagnosed with osteomalacia. My vitamin D keeps dropping low if I stop taking them. But any pain I felt was mild. But since a year and a half I have been suffering from moderate to severe low back pain. An x-ray about a year ago revealed gentle scoliosis. But the doctor
