battling B12 deficiency/pernicious anemia
For years , I have been going through cycles of extreme exhaustion, brain fog , balance issues, and I have lived with ringing in my ears since youth. Three years ago, stumbled into the doctor feeling like I was dying. He ran several test. Did nothing for treatment. He did send me to a neurologist

Rash on neck comes and goes away. Steroid cream and antihistamines not working. Been happening for 3 months
I have this itchy neck rash that mainly flairs up or comes back on the weekends. Tried steroid cream. It does know it down, but comes back again. On multiple antihistamines one in the morning and one at night and that doesn't seem to help. I take a daily multivitamin and fiber in the morning, but

Supplements in 1st trimester extra folic acid
Do you take extra folic acid to the multi vitamin like Pregnacare? Is 400mcg folic acid the minimum daily amount or recommended amount? The reason im asking is Pregnacare is coated tablet, I start feeling bloated immediately after taking it, which isn’t the case for years until now I’m at early pregnancy

UPDATE; Overwhelmed; unbearable pain with a 'cascade of subsequent pain', can't figure out anything anymore? Does anybody else get this?
I would like to say a huge, heartfelt thank-you to everybody who has replied to my post in the last 48 hours. The incredible expression and wave of care and positive vibes has been humbling. In return I would like to give EVERYBODY a big hug of sincere gratitude. Every single reply has helped me to

Curing RLS not just treating the symptoms
Thank you for the priceless pages of RLS tips and advice! I’ve been struggling to diagnose my 3 year old son’s sleep issues his entire life. A sleep study reveled his “kicking legs” last year which (we believe) set us on the right path. So far, adding
Gaba, 60 mg of iron (Atrium sleep clinic prescribed

ALFLOREX FOR IBS-C
I know that a few people on here have been taking Alflorex for IBS-D but has anybody tried it for IBS-C and if so did it make any difference? I managed to more or less control my symptoms by being careful what I ate after trying the FODMAP diet and taking Healthspan’s combined probiotic and multivitamin

Test Result Advice
Hello all! Just got these bloodwork numbers back and could use some kind advice please. I used to take Armour Thyroid after a diagnosis of hypothyroid, then later Thiroyd from Thailand, and then only OTC glandular. I finally found a "functional med" doctor who put me on 15mg NP Thyroid after a test

My total results so far. Opinions?
Hello everyone, I'm back! This time I made a chart with all my results so far, at the moment I'm on 5mg carbimazole daily, I started on 10 mg and stay for about 6 weeks until my second result on 20/12/22 when my Dr dropped to 5mg. I have 3 questions: 1-Is it possible to have both high anti tpo and

Calcium supplements - are they essential for PMR
I saw my GP a couple of days ago and whilst there he reviewed my Calcium/Vitamin D3 supplements. I currently take an EvercalD3 tablet twice daily, a super strength vitamin D3 +K2 tablet containing 4000 iu vitamin D3 plus a multivitamin tablet. This gives me calcium intake of 3000 mg daily and 5000

timing of supplements
I am confused about whether it is beneficial to take supplements at certain times of the day or with/without certain pairings. Perhaps it just doesn’t matter, which would be much more convenient. This is what I am currently doing,, but I’d appreciated any suggestions, especially if you think I am overthinking

Suspected fibromyalgia with severe endometriosis
Hi all, hope you’ve had a good day (sending extra love if not!) I’ve been suffering with terrible joint pains & stiffness, raised glands, along with chronic fatigue that isn’t helped even if I do manage to get a decent night’s sleep. Blood tests show slight anaemia & slightly low vitamin D, even though

Not tolerating hydroxycobalamin lozenges
I have probably had b12 def since I got really ill 43 years ago, but kept taking B complex and so all testing failed to show a problem. I had my first diagnosis of macrocytosis in November, despite the B complex, maybe because I was trialling a high B1 protocol (via Elliot Overton's work). In December

I have a cup of tea when I wake up in the morning (tea of life ☺️) …. I then take my Levo with a coffee when I get up before going to gym for an hour or so, then have breakfast later. Am I correct in assuming that I’m getting this wrong? should I be taking my Levo half an hour before i have my first
