The future looks positive
I joined the site a couple of weeks ago shortly after my diagnosis, the advice and tips are amazing I've started buying gluten free and whilst I'm not completely gluten free yet I'm working on it, which encourages me to eat clean, I've read thought my exercise regime I'm now walking instead of running

Hi everyone, hope you can help with this one! I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency back in 2015, had my loading doses then continued to have injections every three months. The injections would wear off after about 8 weeks. When I went back to the GP to ask if I could have them more often they refused,

recommended multivitamin
hi there, can anyone recommend a good GF multivitamin. I've been taking centrum women 50+ since coeliac diagnosis (as thought it probably made sense to take one) - but looking online I can't seem to get a straight answer to my querying whether it's definitely GF or not. I've emailed them but so far no

Possible Terry's/Lindsay's nails? What could this mean?
Hello everyone! I've noticed that my nail beds have become white over the recent months. I can't remember correctly when this began, but I do have a photo below of what my nails look like as of right now. I'm not 100% sure if this is Terry's or Lindsay's nails but your guidance would be sincerely appreciated

Hair & Eyebrows
My hair is fine, frizzy & damaged. My eyebrows are disappearing. I now use three different conditioners to try & stop the shower blocking up every time I wash my hair, then three products to make it brushable. I use eyebrow pencils, gels & powders to give me a structure to my face. I take 175mg of Levothyroxine

COD LIVER OIL WARNING
Cod Liver Oil warning!!! I thought it may be helpful to alert people to the fact that if you're taking a multivitamin tablet then the A vitamin may go into overdose if you're also taking a cod liver oil capsule. I've been blaming symptoms on my thyroxine when it may well be my 'A vitamin' overdose.

LOW LDH.
My LDH is 172 U/1, whereas normal values range between 230 to 460. I feel very tired. My doctor prescribed a multivitamin and at the same time advised me not go into these minute details, these are not important, rather eat good food and exercise, it will improve and that there is no specific medicine

Advice on level of fatigue please. I am insulin dependent diabetic, iron deficient and have pernicious anaemia and 12 weekly B12 injections.
hi, I am 54. Just going through menopause. Am taking ferrous fumarate 210mg tabs twice a day, together with a multivitamin tab after breakfast each day. My folate levels are high. I always feel tired and when menstruating I struggle to move. I eat a healthy diet with red meat and vegetables and some

Bloods 'below range' but no action
I picked this up from the GP today, with the message that I should go back in three months for a repeat. No treatment. I went because I'm breathless and tired again. I'm self injecting b12 two or three times a week (GP gives 8 weekly jabs), and I'm taking a daily multivitamin with iron and extra folate
