(experts recommend as many as 10 servings of fruits and veggies a day for maximum benefits), a little boost of vitamins might seem like a good idea. But popping a pill isn't going to make up for all those lost servings. "Food contains thousands of phyto-chemicals, fiber, and more that work together to promote good health that cannot be duplicated with a pill," said nutritionist Karen Ansel.

Truer words were never written than the quoted advice above. We have steamed veggies a lot of our evening meals. We have fruit all day long. And yes Hal, I do like toast, ha ha! I eat beans and rice frequently and a lot of baked potatoes and baked sweet potatpes. Basically I am in the habit of skipping most meat items or just consuming a minimal amount to get the essentials that meats provide. Good habt I gues developed while taking Sinemet.
