Is anyone not on hormones and birth control for endometriosis? And if so how successful has it been? As I have got the Mirena and my endometriosis tissue was taken out in July last year however all of my symptoms are coming back although I have no periods which is great but I get pain all of the time

2 year battle
So It has almost been 2 years since my first laparoscopy since then my Mirena coil I haven’t had a period and the pains and sickness is pretty much gone although I do get a few pains here and there, although I wanted to find out has anyone since being on contraception ended up having anxiety or depression

Periods & Breakthrough Bleeding a year after Mirena being fitted - normal with Endo or not?
Hi, I had the Mirena coil fitted in Dec’16, but I am still getting monthly periods - although much lighter, break through bleeding/spotting/mini periods in between? Is this normal? Although I no longer get severe period pains, I still have the ‘endo’ pain - think I will get it taken out:(

Does this sound like an ovarian cyst?
I have got: Painful ovulation, lower pelvic pain (sharp, stabbing and scraping), lower back pain, frequent urination(every 20 minutes, difficulty emptying my bowels, spotting which I know is common with the Mirena however it never used to be this painful.

Mirena and ovulation pain
I have been constantly getting horrendous ovulation pain and spotting which I know is related to the coil however I thought that this would subside after a few months but I have had it in now for nearly 9 mouths and the pain is just unbearable. I spoke to my gynaecologist about this and she said to just

Gynaecologist appointment
Today I had my appointment with the gynaecologist who was very helpful. During the consultation she mentioned that I might need to have a cystoscopy due to my symptoms of an overactive bladder and she wants to find out why I am getting these symptoms which is great but I only had my laparoscopy in July

Mirena Coil
Hi, I had the mirena coil inserted 7 months ago, the first 2 months after insertion I bled constantly but then over a weekend it seemed to stop abruptly. I've not had any bleeding since. However over the last week I have had cramps that are so bad they have made me want to vomit and I've had brown discharge

Jaydess IUD?
Just saw my doctor and due to the wait to see the specialist she has recommended the coil. I had a bad reaction to the mirena and she mentioned the jaydess instead as it's smaller. Has anyone tried it?

Hello all... sorry to bother you, I have been in soooo much pain with endometriosis... I’ve had it 20 yrs, had 4 laporoscopies, 1 mri, had been on zoladex for a year... have the Mirena coil in, and been on countless amounts of painkillers to try and ease the pain... The zoladex was an awful time...
