Jaydess IUD?

Just saw my doctor and due to the wait to see the specialist she has recommended the coil. I had a bad reaction to the mirena and she mentioned the jaydess instead as it's smaller. Has anyone tried it?

I had the jaydess fitted a few years ago as they couldn't get the mirena to fit. They then changed to the mirena during surgery. I got on fine with it. It's not as strong as the mirena so it didn't stop all bleeding, but it certainly helped. I had no more flooding with it. It's worth a try. Good luck.
