Any natural treatments to reduced endo from growing??
They have put a mirena coil in, whilst I was in surgery which I did say yes to... but I was a little unsure because hormones just don’t agree with me! This is the last type of contraception that I haven’t tried..it’s only been four weeks but my skin is awful, I am constantly hungry and bleeding. My

Mirena coil out!
Hello all, I've recently had the coil removed after six months of cramps, bad acne and mood swings. I just wanted to know if anyone had similar skin problems, and how long it took to get your skin back to normal? Thanks :)

Anyone else have symptoms without the period?
This may seem like a strange question-I’ve been suffering over a year now, extreme pain and fatigue, bowel and bladder problems around my period, pain after sex, and originally I had ridiculously heavy bleeding, flooding regularly. I tried the mini pill on my consultants orders and whilst it took the

Ok, so initially when the consultant yesterday mentioned things such as HRT, temporary menopause, depot injection, etc., in my head I immediately thought um no thank you. Was anyone like me and then cautiously tried something? The main issue I have is that both my mental health and migraines are worsened

Mirena coil
Hi, I was diagnosed with endo in February and had the Coil fitted to help with this. I was wondering if the coil could get infected? And how would you know? I am waiting to see the Gynaecologist because the strings for the coil are too long, and I haven’t been sexually active since it was inserted.

Follow up after diagnostic lap confirming Endometriosis - what to expect?!
I had a diagnostic laproscopy in October and finally due my follow up. This will be with a different consultants registrar. What can I expect from this appointment? They confirmed Endometriosis at multiple sites and used diathermy on these areas and fitted a mirena coil. Since this time I have experienced

Other treatments apart from hormones?
I have probably asked this question before, but I was just wondering if anyone does not use hormone treatment for endo? And if not what works for you? It is just that I have the Mirena which is giving me awful pains and other problems such as needing to go to the toilet every 20 miniutes which I asked

GEtting desperate now continued - Blood tests back - opinions please!
My latest results are below. The report mentions the low TSH suggests I am being overtreated. Now what I don't understand is how can I be over treated AND still the conventional symptoms of under active thyroid?! I'm gaining weight, dry itchy skin and hair, fatigue/tiredness, sometimes slow motion both

First period since lap and mirena coil insertion
I had my laparoscopy on the 6th of feb where they found endo and treated. As well as that they fitted a mirena coil in to see how I’d get on with one... Well first period since and I’ve been bleeding for 10 days now! Is this normal? My usual periods are roughly 4-6 days depending and are so heavy. This

Endometriosis surgery 2 months ago. New rib pain
I was diagnosed with endometriosis, following diagnostic laparoscopy in 2015 where they removed the endometriosis from my ovaries, bowel, POD and uterus, they inserted the mirena coil at the same time. I also had adhesions at this stage. I had a reoccurrence in 2016. Was put on danazol, but that didn't

Mirena
Hello! I got my Mirena fitted end of December and have been on and off bleeding for the whole time! I’ve been bleeding now for 2 weeks straight! Just wondering if anyone else has had these problems and if so when does it all calm down? It hurts a lot when I’m on my period because of my endo so it’s really

Endo and Mirena
Hi after an unsuccessful couple years of trying for a baby I'm going back on the Mirena. I had it before I knew I had endo, anyone had probs with it after having surgery? I never had a period when I previously it which is great however means you can't track cyclic changes in hormones to know what pain

I'm new. And now feeling like I'm crazy.
Hi Sorry - loooooong introduction, please feel free to skip to the last few paragraphs!! I have had a pretty bad time of things for nearing 18 months now. To try to be concise - I have always had horrific periods, ever since starting. As a teenager I would vomit and pass out on the bathroom floor every

Considering lap and Mirena
Hi! I'm 14 and I've been on the mini pill for about a year now. I'm waiting to see a specialist for under 16s considering lap. The pill has worked great for the past 6 months and I don't get periods (as long as I don't miss a pill!) Although, I would like to know if I do have endometriosis as my mum
