Does this sound like an ovarian cyst?

I have got: Painful ovulation, lower pelvic pain (sharp, stabbing and scraping), lower back pain, frequent urination(every 20 minutes, difficulty emptying my bowels, spotting which I know is common with the Mirena however it never used to be this painful.

I don’t know but I’ve been told I have a 4 cm cyst on ovary and have very similar symptoms and merina x

oh you poor thing, I went to see my gynaecologist but she referred me to the urology team and mentioned about a cystoscopy x

I have been told I have a 5 cm cyst and the symptoms you have described are definitely similar to some of the ones I have been experiencing. Maybe worth getting it checked!

I’m not sure yet, the sonographer thought I looked as though I was due a bleed which I have had since and I had an appointment booked to see specialist again in may so she said they can re scan again then as it could just be the type of cyst we get before period that resolves itself . I had a long bleed and have been v tired and in pain recently

So il just have to wait and see .

thanks for your reply I have the coil so I am a bit concerned that I am going to have this removed, don't get me wrong I don't like the coil and all of the problems which it brings however I don't want my endo to come back again though x

U sound in a very similar situation to me, I feel that it might be worth trying without the coil to see if a lot of my symptoms die down but I feel the same as u (that I wud this want to risk adeno/Endo getting worse or coming back) + I cant take pill ... so wud this no wat contraception to use either 🤨 also since I’ve had coil I get a sharp pain up my vagina near cervix. Hope u don’t mind me asking , have u ever experienced this ?
