Gynaecologist appointment

Today I had my appointment with the gynaecologist who was very helpful. During the consultation she mentioned that I might need to have a cystoscopy due to my symptoms of an overactive bladder and she wants to find out why I am getting these symptoms which is great but I only had my laparoscopy in July and all of my endometriosis tissue was taken out so I wouldn’t of thought it would of grown back that fast? She also mentioned that my symptoms could be due to my Mirena coil and she said that she could remove it however that would mean that my periods will come back and therefore there will be high chances of the endo coming back.

Hi Lauren. Could it be your bladder is sensitive due to previous op? This happened to me after having ovaries removed and kept thinking i had urine infections. I drank loads of water and watched what i ate and drank and it eventually cleared up. The coil could also be causing irritation. There are other drugs you could have. I had great success with zoladex but its what suits you.

Hi sorry for the late reply, when I went to my appointment she said that I shouldn’t be getting any problems which was caused by the surgery as this was months ago.
