Treatment or what to do
Hi guys, I got diagnosed with endo in 2006 when I was 18/19 which which was a good diagnosis being that age as usually it takes years to diagnose. So basically I had a lap and diathermy in 2006 and then 6 months of zoladex, then in 2008 I had a further lap and excision, and they left a litre of adept

Endo and exercise
Girls how frustrating is it when you’re trying to get in to a routine and better yourselves and endo just gives you a kick. I joined a boot camp and have been watching my food but soon as it comes to that time of month my body is so drained and I feel like I turn into a hermit. I had the Mirena fitted

Is there other alternative treatments out there for women that sufferer from endometriosis rather than the pill or the Mirena coil?
Hi there, I'm new to this page, but hopefully maybe someone could shade some light about contraception alternatives. I've had key hole surgery back in 2013, for endometriosis. I'm only stage 2, so not too bad. I also was told I had Adenomyosis as well, but I think it comes with the territory of having

Pains with the Mirena Coil
Hi Everyone, So I went for it and had the Mirena Coil fitted almost 2 weeks ago now. It was painful to have it put in but my consultant was amazing and really listened to my concerns as well as me saying that I found all internals excessively painful. Anyway, I only bled for a day and then nothing

Endo on bowel/bladder, frozen pelvis, IBS, citalopram?
Hi, I'm so confused! Had a lap last year and they said I have stage 3 endo on bladder/bowel and fused to ovaries etc, although glanced at docs screen yesterday and it said frozen pelvis so there's that.. Long story short I was coping with the symptoms so decided not to go ahead with any surgery, they

UTI after mirena fitting
Is it normal to get a UTI after getting the mirena fitted? I had it fitted on Tuesday and been in agony ever since but today I’ve woken up feeling like I’ve got a water infection. Going to test my wee when I get to work (work in a hospital) and then decide whether to ring the GP or not

Mirena coil
Finally gave in and went and got it fitted today. I’m in so much pain. Is it normal to be in a lot of pain? I feel like I’m having a really bad period but without the bleeding (had a little bit of spotting but it seems to have stopped). Keep getting the feeling that I need to push something out - never

Mirena coil
Hey ladies, After taking the advice of my gynaecologist of trying the mirena out before we go down the operation route, I went today to have it fitted! After three attempts and re positioning my gp said that it was not going to be successful and that she literally couldn’t even measure my womb! Has

Mirena coil side effects...
I’ve had a mirena fitted for 4 years and had it changed in March as I felt it wasn’t working as well anymore It’s working well however I have also recently started to get BV and just wondered if it was a side effect or the coil or if it could be something else causing it?

Hair loss
Is anyone else experiencing hair loss? I don't know if it is the trauma of my op or 4 months of menopause injections or now being on BOTH the mirena coil and Cerazette pill or generally having messed up hormones from the drugs or...something else?

Another shit weekend
So another week ruined by horrendous bleeding and cramping and stuck at home taking pain killers again while I listen to the neighbours having a party. Friend bought me cinema ticket but could not go as on too much pain again. Was feeling better with Mirena coil for last 10 days, but checked the strings

Coping methods for pain and mental health with endo?
Hi, first post here, I was diagnosed 6 months ago with "99% chance I have endo, but can't confirm until lap performed". I'm 26, and have suffered with bad periods since I was 14. After 11 years of going back and forth to doctors and being dismissed, after having issues with pill being discontinued and

Hi, I’m 21 and just recently had my first laparoscopy and diagnosed with endometriosis. I’m struggling to understand it fully and maybe see what treatments help is there for me. I got the marina coil put in last week too so fingers crossed it helps with symptoms! My main concern is working every day

Endometriosis and adenomyosis
I have suffered with endometriosis since I was 21.....I’m 39 now! Last year I also got diagnosed with adenomyosis. I have had 6/7 surgical laps and diathermy to remove the endo, have tried the contraceptive pill, decapeptyl injections. I had a Mirena coil inserted last year following 6 months of decepaptyl

Symptoms of confirmed endometriosis?!

Hi! I’m 19 now but I have suffered with chronic period pain ever since I started my period when I was 12. Missed a lot of time in school, was often getting sick and blacking out because the pain was so bad. GP prescribed mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid but did nothing. I started having period like

Zoladex Injection - anyone else?
Off to get this today to ‘shut down’ my periods etc for 3 months to see if the pain I still have after 2 laps and the mirena coil is definitely Endo/Gyne related - has anyone recently had this same injection? How has it been? They have offered me HRT too to lessen the menopausal systems, would you recommend
