What is going on ?

Hi everyone, just wanted some advice , I’ve been having lower back pain , pelvic pain for a few months now , a trans vaginal scan showed a follicular cyst in the ovary , that side of my abdomen is different and larger, I’ve had 2 very big pv bleeds with no warning and have last week had , hysteroscopy, thermal ablation , biopsy and mirena coil inserted , however my pain is still the same and when I saw my operation notes it said my uterus was bulky and not suitable for vaginal hysterectomy , my ca 125 was normal but my friend still thinks I should be concerned - I’m 44 , any suggestions/ advice I would be grateful , Cath

Hi Cath,

Sounds like you are getting all the right attention, but need some definite verification and I would push for that. No one should be in pain in this day and age and I would ask they look at pain management for you and get to the bottom of what is causing it.

Write down the questions you need to ask before your appointment and take someone with you as back up.

Be active on getting an appointment to discuss your results and a plan as to your way forward.
