First Gynae Appointment
I had my first appointment today, a last minute one, I want to say it went great but it went how I thought it would. I explained everything, she pushed hormones on me repeatedly, just not Mirena as my womb is the wrong shape for it. She was against a lap, as she said they’d treat with hormones anyway

Cannot find an answer to this!
I’m really struggling with perimenopausal hormone fluctuations. My thyroid levels are stable and have been for a while now, however at the beginning of my cycle when my protestors drops and oestrogen increases, I feel awful and it takes a couple of weeks to level out again. I had been using bioidential

Contraceptive whilst on Decapeptyl - do I really need one?
Has anyone else been in this situation and what were you advised about contraception? I’ve been on Decapeptyl injections for 8 years and these have successfully managed by endometriosis. I have no pain or other symptoms whatsoever now. I get bone scans every 3 years to check my bone density and I’ve

Symptoms post hormonal treatment
I’ve had the mirena coil for almost 8 years (8 years post diagnosis) and I’ve started having symptoms again. No bleeding or severe cramps but bad back and pelvis pain. Has anyone else had this post hormonal treatment? Or am I being overly worried?

Experience with the Mirena Coil for Endo
Hello, After not getting on with side effects of Prostap, my gynae is proposing to trial the Mirena Coil. I'm due to have it fitted at the end of this month. I've heard mixed reviews - from horror stories (re side effects) to success stories! I just wondered if anyone who's had the coil could share

No endometriosis found
Hi all, So after being on Zoladex injections for a year I finally had my laparoscopy surgery. No endometriosis was found during this except for tilted womb. Mirena coil inserted. I’m really upset that I’ve been given no diagnosis or real answer to the horrendous pain I’ve been in. Just looking to

Constant bloating and swollen tummy
In the last few months I’ve felt bloated constantly, my belly swollen, not much appetite, I get abdominal pain, especially when exercising. In the past I’ve had a laparotomy and laparoscopy for ovarian cysts and my endo, I’ve had a mirena coil for years which stopped my periods completely, living without

Mirena and bleeding after lap
Hi all, I had a Laparoscopy 3 and a half weeks ago and a Mirena coil at the same time. I only lightly bled for 3/4 days after, but then my period came not long after and I’ve now been bleeding and cramping for 15 days! I’ve had my bloods done, which all came back fine, other than borderline anaemic.

Mirena removed and less pain?
Hi. I’ve had a lot less pain (so far) since the mirena was removed which definitely made my symptoms worse (pelvic pain) for the 9 months I had it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Mirena removal and bleeding
Hi, just wondering what your experiences are of mirena removal and instant bleeding? I had mine removed Monday, Tuesday spotting and heavy bleeding yesterday and today. Just wondering wondering how long this may last and if I need to take Tranexamic acid prescribed by Dr. Thank you

Bleeding post Laproscopy excision and Mirena
I had a Laproscopy four weeks ago where quite a bit of endo was removed and a mirena coil fitted. I had some spotting and then my period (I think) the week after my surgery. But then it seemed to stop. This week I seem to have had bleeding again started off very light but last night it looked a bit
