First Gynae Appointment

I had my first appointment today, a last minute one, I want to say it went great but it went how I thought it would. I explained everything, she pushed hormones on me repeatedly, just not Mirena as my womb is the wrong shape for it. She was against a lap, as she said they’d treat with hormones anyway, which I’ve heard a million times before. I tried explaining that depo only works for me as I pauses my periods, and they’ll come back worse when I’m off it. I need to know either way. She reluctantly agreed. Sat on a waiting list starting…now.

Glad it went well, and you’re on the list. Ask about cancellations as they will crop up. Are you ok with the outcome, did you both come up with a solution of pain control in the meantime?
