Laughter. The best medicine?
To quote the title of one of my
meditation
books, 'After the Ecstasy the Laundry'! (Jack Kornfield). Happiness is a fleeting thing and it takes some chasing sometimes.

I’ve tried baths, essential oils to calm me,
meditation
etc no matter how tired I am I just don’t fall asleep and it’s so frustrating. As I lay there my mind just wanders too and it stresses me out and makes me sad. I recently bought Valerian and Ashwagandha in liquid form.

Citalopram insomnia
I always had problems sleeping and anxiety and I know all the sleep hygiene rules and
meditation
etc etc that can help with that, but this is a different feeling, it reminds me of like come down from amphetimines or mdma (not that I have done these for over a decade and I am not condoning them in anyway

New Here – Questions About NAFLD & NASH
Lastly, I work a desk job, I'm a vegetarian, I do high-intensity exercise two days a week, and practice sitting
meditation
for twenty minutes a day. Truthfully, my only vice has been beer. For a few years, I was a beer while making dinner, a beer with dinner, and a beer after dinner sort of guy.

Learn
meditation
techniques, calm yourself and make yourself as fit as “YOU” can. Even with CyberKnife surgery there are still some twinges but they are very bearable. There are some slight, so far, sideffects (sp). The left side of my mouth dribbles and I expect that to get worse.

Finally Kicked The Habit: 1 Month Quit
Watching movies is more fun,
meditation
is way deeper, all physical activity is more pleasant. I feel calmer and my heart feels healthier. My sense of smell is really amazing now too and I also smell better myself :) I still get cravings. I got one just this morning after work.

“Why aren’t you taking DMDs?” “That depends,What pharmaceutical company do you represent?”
I replied, “So of course you’ll tell me about diet acupuncture, yoga,
meditation
, exercise, and other forms of holistic care?” It’s very hard to be your own advocate when doctors are getting kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies.

I am looking for a specific
meditation
with Bellarruth Naparstek. I think it was called " Coping with grief". 20 minutes and with a candle as a first picture. Somebody called Mia T Rex had something to do with it. It was a favourite piece and now it is gone!

Does any one else noticed an increase in anxiety/side effects about two weeks after starting a new medication or changing the dose?
I have had GAD/panic disorder/social anxiety since childhood, and have pretty recently (last few years) decided to try
meditation
for it, as it has gotten noticeable worse.
