All's well that ends well...after a tiring journey filled more with downs than with ups we had a boy this July in our 3rd round. Sharing the below to give hope to others who are going through this journey. We had a male factor that was suddenly discovered as a part of a routine checkup
Round 1 - Age 35, 10 eggs, 2 day 6 blasts, 1pgs normal with a high mitoscore
Round 2 - Age 35, 19 eggs, 1 pgs abnormal day 6 blast
Transfer of round1 embie that didn't attach
Doc advised to go for donor since the previous rounds were not giving good results.
Tired, heartbroken and depressed with the results we were totally lost. Wanted to try again and we worked on our health with better nutrition, husband losing weight and consulted an ayurvedic doctor for some better overall health improvements.
Round 3 - Age 37,10eggs, 3 day six blasts and 1 pgs normal with our samples. Was fully shattered at the results. Should we have gone for a donor? Is donor for us? We had never given it a thought before.
After covid wave one, travelled and got the fet transfer done alone since my husband had to stay back for an important job related stuff.
The two week wait was something of a rollercoaster. No symptoms at all. I decided to test at home the morning I was supposed to visit the clinic for an official test. And saw the two lines for the first time in my life. Cried, was shaking, shouted and called up my husband.
I still can't believe this has happened. A lot of prayers, manifestation meditation etc (never did any of this before) perhaps helped
Miracles happen. Please believe in something wonderful will happen
