Sussex Masters League - race report. LEWES TRACK 22/05/2023
I put that thought to the back of mind as I prepared for the start with some deep breathing and
meditation
. There were, I think, 8 clubs represented at the league this year and it certainly helped bolster the numbers in the younger age groups and middle distance events.

What does Artificial Intelligence tell us about Tinnitus? Let's ask ChatGPT
He tried various treatments, including sound therapy,
meditation
, and dietary changes. While not all of these approaches worked for him, he persisted and eventually found a combination of strategies that helped him.

Insomnia and sleep clinics
I took the nytol at 10pm and repeated the relaxation routine, but swapped the relaxing music for a guided
meditation
. I was shattered and really thought it would work, but it's currently 5.45 on Tuesday and I'm still awake. I start work at 9am.

Lots of pain in the depression and anxiety filling me..... but lots to be thankful for as well... kids, jobs, wife.... so trying to find joy
I've tried meds, TMS, ECT, therapy,
meditation
, exercise....would love to hear ideas folks have for me.... I'm 62 and have been anxiety riddled and depressed since grade school. Thanks for those who've written already and I welcome more input.

Musings on stress relievers – I know what might help to alleviate stress, but why don’t I do them?
/mindfulness. I’ve tried various techniques over the years but just don’t seem to “get it” somehow. I’m a very literal person and an instruction to “just sit” is too open ended for me. Just sit and what?

Gut churning anxiety
Meditation
is useless as I can't get rid of the scary thoughts and intense emotions in order to relax enough. I feel like I'll never be happy again. No one can have any real understanding of my situation and I feel like I've suddenly been plunged into a nightmare.

Psst... It's a new day but my past keeps following me
Didn't keep up the breathing exercises, gave up
meditation
, didn't continue to enforce my boundaries, didn't spend time thoughtfully processing crappy feelings, didn't do this didn't do that. See, here I go again. Seriously I would so loose a best friend who treats me like I treat myself.

Lifestyle approach to asthma and nasal polyps
Has anyone had any success in reducing their symptoms with lifestyle/diet/breathing/
meditation
techniques or alternative medicine? Doctors seem to just keep adding another layer of treatment and I don't have many layers left to add! Thank you.

How to stop beta blockers for good?
I wonder if anyone has managed to beat stress related problems using
meditation
and other lifestyle related changes ?? I am not overweight and eat a very healthy diet, non smoker non caffeine or alcohol drinker. Just bad genes unfortunately.

Recovering from gerd
There's a wealth of information and studies to support the brain/gut connection and once I began to address my anxiety (
meditation
, breathing exercises and acupuncture as well as reducing the high intensity exercise I was doing and incorporating more yoga and pilates based exercise) my symptoms massively

Trying...
I know all of the coping,
meditation
, ways to get back on track but guiding someone else when your not feeling OK yourself? I have adult children, step children and 14 grandchildren. I recently remarried after being together for several years.

Starting Over
I am having a hard time getting back into utilizing the tools I learned about: self-care, affirmations, gratitude, journaling,
meditation
, etc. I know what my stressors are, and I am trying to work my way through them. Unfortunately, it is taking longer than I want it to!

How to recover from anxiety
I tried hypnotherapy, I tried
meditation
, I tried listening to soothing music, waves gently lapping the shores of a golden sun kissed sandy beach. I bought a bicycle and rode a stupid amount of miles every week. I swam huge distances.

Favorite techniques when a anxiety/panic attack hits you
Deep breathing and
meditation
appear to be the most common recommendations, but I’d love to see your favorite technique that you use to get out of all the anxiety.

Perimenopause Anxiety Panic attacks
I had panic attacks that started when I was about 38 and took Citalopram which helped a little plus CBT,
meditation
and yoga. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same and did they take any further medication that really helped.

Advice on lowering high-ish saliva cortisol levels
I prioritise my lifestyle, sleep,
meditation
, nutrition, calories, etc. I'm on T4 and react badly to T3, even slow release T3, tried T3 several times with awful results. If you lowered your cortisol levels, what helped you do it please?
