Hypothesis XII
It could also be that the reason that the body depletes potassium and
magnesium
is caused by under-supplementation and not by the actual B12 being ‘used’. The body is adjusting to having a bit more B12 but not enough.

Guidance for RLS
Currently, I'm taking Gabapentin and
Magnesium
Glycinate, but neither are helping--yet. I did take Carbidopa-Levodopa for several months, which eased my RLS significantly, but now it's back in full force and the Carbidopa-Lev. doesn't work anymore.

New to T3, advice please
I supplement with 210mg iron, plenty of
magnesium
, vitamin D and B supplements, I tend to stop these a couple days before my thyroid bloods and take them away from my meds. I take 2-3 mls of low dose naltrexone (LDN) daily, I'm gluten free for one year and working on dairy free.

Acupuncture and Hot Flashes
MO has prescribed Paxil, Effexor and something else that didn't work, I tried
magnesium
and bee pollen all to no avail. I finally tried acupuncture - he had mentioned this the first time I complained and have just now tried it.

Magnesium tablets
I have a constant ticking in my right ear, Dr Google says it most likely is a middle ear issue, possibly that the membrane is blocked.Advice includes Super
Magnesium
tablets. I am sceptical as I can't see how this would help. Does anyone use these tablets and has it helped?

What vitamin supplements to take alongside B12 injections?
In the meantime I've read that taking supporting supplements can help the B12 to do its job so, alongside my usual multivitamin, I've now started taking
magnesium
375mg and folic acid 400 micrograms. Early days and could be sheer coincidence (or all in my head!)

THANK YOU 🙏
Thank you to everyone that has helped with with my query around
Magnesium
Taurate. It appears Ethical Nutrition is recommended by Dr Gupta and is a lot cheaper than others I looked at. I thought it might be helpful to attach nutritional information to see what we’re getting! Thank you all.

looking for tips
I’ve done calcium/
magnesium
, iron supplements taken with orange juice, stretching, hot baths before bed, mirapex and lyrica. It’s daily and nothing helps. Looking for avenues that I’ve never tried. And yes, light exercise in the evening.

Magnesium recommendations
I tried
magnesium
citrate from Holland and Barrett but the pills are uncomfortable to swallow and didn't seem to help. I then tried the vita biotics brand which contains dihydroxide, and they are great for sleeping and reducing anxiety but upset my stomach.

The problem with Buprenorphine, BTBD9 and serotonin syndrome
I don’t tolerate most supplements including iron and
magnesium
. I tried THC which is said to increase adenosine, but I didn’t tolerate it over time. I have even quit drinking green tea (one of few pleasures I have left) as I suspected it was blocking adenosine build up during the day.

Why did I go looking... Zinc inhibits cortisol
So ideally zinc in the evening with
magnesium
as they benefit each other... synergistic apparently My cortisol is low throughout but if it's going to take a hit then I guess evening is best for me
