Hello all, I started with ET but now have PV and have been on Peg for about 6 weeks with phlebotomies occasionally. My Hematocrit has gone down but my platelets are going up so the MPN Dr wants me to take Hydroxyurea at 500 2-3 times a week with low dose of Peg at 60. He really wants me back on hydrea

Did anyone else listen to the talk about Electrolytes by Surrey ASG?
Conclusions were to try and get enough
Magnesium
and Potassium from food, although results for
Magnesium
were inconclusive, it seemed to me that Potassium was key.

Bruising after B12 injection
I have increased the dose and have also started injecting
magnesium
which I though would cause an issue but hasn't so far. Any ideas on how to stop the bruising? Thank you in advance.

Thank you
I started to take a
magnesium
supplement after finding this was most lacking in my diet and my anxiety and depression have all but disappeared. While I still have issues with focusing it has been much more controllable.

Week 9 run 3 - DONE!
Last run of the programme completed this afternoon, in bright sunshine. I'm particularly pleased that I've managed to finish as I originally started the C25K back in May but had to stop as I had injured my back. It would be over 8 weeks before I could begin to run again, starting over at Week 1.

Best Treatment if you’re already on Opioids
I’ve invested so far in compression socks, high dose
Magnesium
, iron citrate, and some tablets called “Calm Legs” . I’m seeing my GP next week, it feels mainly under control…. But today I have had twinges again. I may have forgotten to take the “Calm Legs” last night.

Now on 150 mcg Levo, I need Vit D, K2 MK7, Folate/B complex,
Magnesium
, maybe glycinate or chloride, spent hours trying to track down good bio available ones and getting confused and annoyed. omega 3 fatty acids too.

Latest blood test results are depressing
I’m going to be retested in 6 weeks and that will also include
magnesium
, ferritin. Results are T3 - 4.7 (3.9-6.8) T4 11.6 (11-26) TSH less than 0.01. (0.27-4.2). Both t3 and t4 have dropped since November when they were t3 5.5 and t4 15.2.
