Managing the symptoms of an overactive thyroid
Apart from sleeping pills and
magnesium
gel, can anyone suggest anything? My caffeine intake is reduced to one cup of tea today.

Levothyroxine optimised?
So I'm continuing to supplement vitamin D (and
Magnesium
) to get that even higher. So, my question really is about levothyroxine doses.

Also taking
Magnesium
, Zinc and and Selenium. In terms of symptoms I feel my main issue is fatigue and muscle aches on doing to much. Which this week was a day in London delivering a painting. My brian fog is pretty good unless I don't sleep.

statins
The pharmacist said people don’t realise that statins affect
magnesium
in the body and you need extra. Any thoughts on this? I know from this site that
magnesium
may help with af, but the only time I ever took it I felt I’ll 🤣

Feeling Low Today
I'm also taking some supplements my doc recommended with it at night, along with
magnesium
. I've been following a sleep program on line which included a relaxation meditation, which helps me relax and sometimes fall asleep.

Advice/assistance regarding starting T3.
Current supplements include cod liver oil (which has a tiny amount of vit D), calcium,
magnesium
and zinc (again with a tiny dose of vit D), B complex, and plenty of sunshine. Diagnosis: autoimmune thyroiditis, multinodule goitre, calcified thyroid cyst, many other thyroid cysts.

NDT+supplements?
I take many meds & supplements at every meal & bedtime, but from investigating I am most concerned by
magnesium
-which I take after breakfast/lunch/dinner- and calcium after lunch. Please can someone tell me what the situation is re NDT &
magnesium
and so what I need to do.

vegan preference for hypo has serious risks
The obvious choice now is a b12 supplement that I will start ASAP, but would much prefer to run with minimal supplements bar
magnesium
- so thinking about the need for more fish like mackerel high in B12 and. D perhaps now most days for lunch ….
