I have a constant ticking in my right ear, Dr Google says it most likely is a middle ear issue, possibly that the membrane is blocked.Advice includes Super Magnesium tablets. I am sceptical as I can't see how this would help. Does anyone use these tablets and has it helped?
As always, posting on here as impossible to get a health care professional to look at it

Hello, I take magnesium pills, they are supposed to be good for your ears. I’m on heartburn pills which deplete the bodies magnesium, that’s why I take the pills. I wouldn’t say they have had any effect on my tinnitus.
Some tinnitus issues can be related to neck tension and the knock on effect of vagal tone… magnesium does help relax muscles and nerves.
My tinnitus improved after trying a neck massager I bought off Amazon… they are not expensive and may bring some relief. .. because they not only reduce neck tension… they improve vagal tone by flossing the vagus nerve that supplies the ear and neck…choose the one with built in heat and at least four contact points… they have various combinations of settings and switch off automatically after ten minutes.
