Query about shadow on my left lower lung
Hi, I had a chest x-ray and abdominal x-ray at the hospital on Sunday due to having abdominal pain which was diagnosed as gastritis. This morning, a consultant radiologist rang me and told me that they have seen a shadow in my lower left lung. They said it could be a number of things including infection

Coeliac disease that doesn't respond to a GF diet
I was emailed this study today, which I thought might be interesting for some of the coeliac's on here. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33361039/ They basically identified that there is a higher prevalence of SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) in patients whose health didn't improved on a

Cure for NAFLD within 1 month (confirmed)
First and foremost, the idea is to have
low
carb
diet
and high
protein
. We all know carbs turns into glucose and is not good for your fatty liver so stay away from carbs at all cost. Basically if your weight is 160Lb then I would say that keep the proteins to 160g, fats 25g and carbs 50g.

Swede & carrot fritters
Hi everyone and here’s a pic of tonight’s tea. I made the fritter idea up and although they fell apart a bit, they were well yummy. Chop half a swede and 3 medium carrots into small chunks, steam for about ten minutes then mash with butter. Stir in a fried onion, a large egg and a handful of grated cheddar

Uncontrolled Asthma, repeated asthma attacks every day. Do I have bronchiectasis?
I am 52, slim, fit, healthy and quite fit with a balanced healthy diet no milk but plenty of bio yoghurt. I supplement with vit c, vit D and probiotics daily. I have had asthma since 4yo, productive chesty cough for twenty five years, chest infections two to six times a year swiftly cleared by Amoxicillin

How can this be allowed?
Yet again I have had my salbutamol stopped without warning! I have half an inhaler which is supposed to last until mid March. There is no way it will last until then! I have had this stress from my surgery stopping my medication before. Making me have to present my case why this is dangerous for me

This is what I had today for lunch. It’s made with egg beaters and gluten free bread with cinnamon mixed in all together. It was 41 total carbs. when you add in the yogurt on the side. It was really good and a high protein low carb. meal.😀👍 Stay safe, happy and healthy!😀👍🌈

Day 314: A Busy Day Helps.
So much easier to keep on track if you don't have any time to think about food...especially the carbs you crave. Shed a few this week, running and reading next week, then on to LCHF following that. New post: https://seanfit1973.wixsite.com/fattofit/post/day-314-a-busy-day-helps Stay strong and keep

1st admission & trying to make sense of it all
What a 24hrs it has been! After worsening symptoms and trying to treat at home I ended up in a&e. I was met with the same you’re talking, no wheeze & o2 maintaining. Instead this time I was like no I don’t always wheeze! They actually listened to me ( which was surprising) so a senior dr came along and

Just a brief post to express my deep appreciation for the huge amount of support that Lytham and moreless injected into my '4-week plan' over the past couple of months. The original intent was simply to boil down some basic instructions into an easy-to-read document, but their enthusiasm has done

Diet and misleading result?
Before my last blood test, I had started a
diet
(
low
potassium, low calcium, low
protein
, low everything! I actually ate less). I started it around a week before the test. Two days ago when I received my lab results, almost everything was normal.
