Lymphodoema in torso
Appear to have lymphodoema in my torso following diep flap & mastectomy surgery three years ago (as well as mildly in my arm). To have it in your torso (above bikini line) seems very unusual, does anyone else have this?

Hi I am now living in France from U.K. I have been on sera tide 500 x 2 puffs a day for years. For my asthma. I also have mild bronchiectasis. My lung capacity has gradually reduced over recent years. Peak flow used to be 250 but recently below 180. My doctor in France said seratide was old fashioned

Diabetes Type 2, PD and Berberine
Diabetes is a common disease that affects many Americans and 90 to 95% of diabetics have Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). I will be discussing T2DM and one option to help deal with it effectively based on multiple studies. Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) is significantly less common so I will focus this discussion

ULTRASOUND RESULTS - THERE IS A NODULE WHICH IS PAINFUL - CAN ANYONE HELP?
Hello everyone Apologies at the outset because this is long but I am very worried and would be very grateful to anyone who reads this and can advise me. I had an ultrasound scan of my thyroid gland last Tuesday. My thyroid antibodies have never been out of range - my last test in March this year

Fish and no chips
One thing with low carb life-style is I do miss occasional fish and chips. I went passed a chippy tonight and the smell was wonderful. So my question is, if I had just the battered fish, without any chips (which I won't miss anyhow), is that going to be full of carbs. And let's assume the batter is

Where do I start to check that I am receiving the correct treatment for my 'hypothyroidism' ?
Hi In June 2020 I was eventually diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia. With the help and support from PAS, B12d.org and this forum I have managed to find a treatment plan that seems to be helping. At times I became so overwhelmed trying to process all the information whilst also trying to deal with

I was just wondering if anyone else is finding problems breathing. I’ve used my ventolin and it was better for a minute or two but now it’s difficult to breathe again. My peak flow I’snt too bad. It’s about 400.

Low carb Halva / Erythritol?
Morning all I've been eating LCHF for a few years. Although I don't get sugar cravings I do really love Halva and would like to be able to eat it more often, rather than just for a special treat. For those who aren't familiar, it's a middle eastern sesame snack made predominantly from pulped sesame

Low carb/keto and running...
Just completed my last run of c25k! Last week I found it my HBA1C levels were 42 which is just in prediabetes range. I did a bit of research and started ketogenic diet, but my last 2 runs felt like really hard work. Anyone have any advice in low carb and running? Thanks 🙏

Yes, dietary sugar can "feed" PC? (And heart disease!)
Many have noted here that PC, unlike some other cancers, depends more on fatty acids than on glucose. Here is another study noting that high intakes of sucrose/fructose (particularly in the form of sugary drinks) impact de novo lipogenesis. That is to say, the sugars help promote the body's increased

Hashimoto's and LDN
Hi, I have read that Low Dose Naltrexone is a good treatment for LDN, but that it is controversial and it is difficult to get a prescription in the UK. Does anyone have nay experience of getting this drug, are GPs hostile, or open to try it ? Thanks John
