Please listen to this inspiring story of a young man who was diagnosed with Type1 at a young age....as a kid he loved music and sports ...then how he took it as a challenge, tried to learn more and more about the disease and now how he is able to manage his health conditions very well. He narrates 5 pillars of his success.

While 2020 is coming to end and we are all looking at 2021 with a lot of Hope .... was wondering if we could use this HU forum more effectively to communicate with each other, update our knowledge, learn from each other and improve our health conditions and overall well being..

(1) It is found many times some members are anxiously seeking advice from others with regards to their diabetic conditions, but are reluctant to describe their detailed health parameters, even when prompted by other members....while it is your right not to respond, but You may not be able to get the required information correctly in the case you decide not to mention all relevant health parameters and decide not to respond to members query .... Others also would lose an opportunity of learning from your health parameters .

There is no reason for members to feel shy about it...HU forum is such a forum that it respects your privacy....

No one is asking your real name, your address, which city you are living, your mobile number, email Id, bank account number/ credit card number etc etcπŸ˜€...you have an option of not displaying your photo image...

You are not required to give any of the above information.. so nobody knows you who you are ??? then why hesitation ??πŸ™

By describing your correct health parameters, not only others can give you the correct information/advice / suggestion, but others also could learn from your health parameters..this forum is all about learning & Sharing..we all are in the same boat.... you are also free to talk and seek advice from others through Pvt chat.

(2) Also members- those of you promptly advise or give suggestions to others , should understand fully his health conditions before passing on your valuable suggestion.

Needless to say that for a Diabete, some of the important health parameters are , weight / BMI, Age, Sex, Fasting & PP, Hba1c, Blood Pressure, Lipid profile, hsCRP, type of diet/ exercise/ life style, sleep quality,...any other conditions like kidney / Liver function, Neuropathy, Retinopathy, Leg pain. etc .

(3) Many of our learned members promptly guide others to modify their diet.... but before advising others, they should honestly describe their own experience with the diet in terms of all important health parameters ...they should not shy away to post the screen shot of their own latest blood report- based upon their own recommended diet. All members would get immensely benefitted by your kind gesture by letting others know your health benefits if it is on a sustainable basis.

(4) Diabetes read a lot.. thanks to digital media and smart phone .. we welcome members to post anything new article , new research papers which you feel useful for diabetes in general. By posting it in diabetic forum, not only you will remember the post and its content , others may also get benefitted.

We appreciate activity2004 who regularly posts her Dexcom (CGM) results and many other useful posts in many HU forums. Similarly, Jerry who lives in a Forest in the lap of Mother nature with with lake, river , mountain , flora & fauna always posts about his experience in a HU forum called positive well being and Healthy eating.. He writes about what he eats daily , how he prepares his own food , image of the food and the photo image of the nature surrounding him .. he brings in a lot of feel good factor among all members of PWB & Healthy Eating.....Thanks activity & Jerry for being a wonderful man always -ready to help others .πŸ™

This is all about Learning & Sharing and HU is a very good forum for this.

Season' s Greetings, Wish you all- A Happy Christmas, and A very Happy New year... .Let the New year bring you a lot of Happiness, Health & wealth...and we wish you reverse your diabetic conditions Soon.πŸ™

Thank you for this update.

Are you able to see how many people have read your post as an administrator?

There are many times the poster do not respond or come back!!

May be a list of questions from the administrator to ask for a new post.?

We all have to appreciate that we are in a public domain and there are many members in HU can read the posts.

For me by habit from my PC, I can log on to 5 applications and 5 windows are open all day for me to do a quick check. This goes back to working life experience from 1980, GE.
