interpreting my blood test results
Hello again I posted here about a month ago, and received really useful information about what blood tests for hypothyroidism should reveal. I have now had the results of the tests, which are quite lengthy, but do not seem to have any information on T3 and T4 levels. Please could some wise person comment

Seeing endo on Monday – question about low TSH/hypothyroidism
Hi all, I’m still working to get an official diagnosis for the complicated mess of adrenal/thyroid/pituitary conditions I’ve been experiencing for the past few years and have a much-awaited appt with my endo on Monday. I get super nervous before any appts for fear of not communicating clearly enough

Any advice on explaining severe asthma to doctors and nurses?
I had a frustrating experience at the hospital yesterday. I've been in a bad flare that's gotten progressively worse so last week I started my at-home protocol of 50 mg of pred a day and Ventolin 3x a day. Yesterday, on day 6, I was even worse so I went to the hospital. Because I wasn't wheezing and

My GCA/LVV experience
My GCA/LVV experience is a warning that the disease does not always present in the typical way we are alert for. I had headaches but no jaw claudication, no tongue pain, no eye symptoms, particularly light flashes in one eye. I had, had fairly typical PMR for 4 years, predictable, bilateral pains in

Prednisone zone fog or GCA
For several months I have been reducing my prednisone by 1/2 of a mg. I am down to 4mg. 3 mg in the morning and one mg around 6pm. My head feel tight all over. I did have a very stiff neck and ear pain the last time I was at 4mg. They check my sed rate and C reactive protein… both were high. Went up

I have a question please - have tried, but without success to find an answer : I have a good eGFR result, but my creatine is high - I am sticking to a
low

which has helped raise my eGFR but has no affect on my high creatine level? What can I do to bring my creatine level down ?

Frustrated
My doctor agreed to my request for a blood test, which I have just had. I needed it to judge the level of PMR inflammation as some of my aches and pains are starting to return. After having it done I have found it was just a routine blood test and no ESR or C-reactive protein test was included. I

Carbs and thyroid
sorry, none of you seem to have understood my question. I am not talking about low carb diets at all. I am asking if a high carb diet will cure an underactive thyroid in a person who is not on medicatrion. If so, where is the research and evidence and why don't endos, GPs etc. suggest adding extra
