Diabetes - possible causes and some suggestions for new diabetics fo reversal.
I have been given to understand by my doctors that diabetes can only be managed, not cured. But people who follow the LCHF diet and those who follow the starch diet have reversed the condition. My son Steve
Last February Steve was transferred to a Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Taunton where he gets
intensive
physio and where they can give him the 24/7
care
that he currently needs. Until September he was fed via a tube into his tummy but in September they began teaching him to eat again.

Sprouts in LCHF diet
Can Sprouts / Sproutted Pulses be included in LCHF, may be for Breakfast/ Lunch? If yes, should they be used Raw or we can half cook them? Would we lose any advantages?

I'm out in Tenerife with my parents, after my mum was admitted to

Diet Doctor - LCHF
I'm having a look at the low carb high fat way of eating, just out of interest really. I've done every diet going and am now trying to make better choices rather than "do a diet" which I hope will provide sustainable weight loss. Anyhow I'm looking at the low carb high fat to see if this would be a good

Here's a way we patients can get doctors to do what we want, e.g. palliative care, rather than what they want, e.g. more operations
Atul Gawande is the surgeon/author who, after dealing with the final illness of his father, wrote the bestseller, Being Mortal, in which he meditates on how we can better deal with age-related frailty, serious illness and approaching death. He is a wonderful writer and thinker. Overkill, his most recent
