I arrived and in the early hours of Sunday myself , mark and duke were transferred to manchesters
Intensive

Third stage liver disease
This has led to several hospital admissions and twice in the last few weeks to her being in
intensive
care
on a ventilator. She's out of ICU now in a ward being treated for hepatic encephalopathy and completely confused and paranoid. Her difficulties stem from alcoholism.

April's Blog (Part 2) - Aaron's experiences of being a male with lupus
As a result I suffered an internal bleed from the kidney which sent me to
intensive
care
where I stayed for four weeks.
Intensive
care
is a big blur for me, so I’m relaying this part through my family's experience.

Managing stress
In the last two months I've been in
intensive
care
three times, two of those were for my asthma. Woke up on the morning of my 21st birthday in ICU as well. Spending loads and loads of time on IVs, and the aminophylinne especially makes me feel jittery which makes it hard to focus on work things.

Carrying a little extra weight decreases mortality from type 2 diabetes
"Patients with type 2 diabetes who are overweight but not obese live longer than those who are underweight or normal-weight, according to a study is published in Annals of Internal Medicine." sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/05/150504182245.htm So don't aim for BMI 19 or 20. BMI 24 is far better than
