Update
He is now in
intensive
care
after loosing more amounts of blood from both ends thru the night. They took him to theatre and found the bleed and have tied it off. They are keeping him asleep and treating him for encephalitis, they have given him a lot of blood and proteins, keeping his fluids up..

new diagnosis of AFib with RVR
I have just come out of
intensive

in hospital in Spain ( whilst on holiday) after having an awful AFib attack with heart rate of 158 which required meds to revert my heart to normal rhythm.

Pluvicto works but at what cost
70 yo with Stage 4, multiple bone mets, on Orgovyx daily and Xgeva every 3 months. DaVinci in past. Previously on Firmagon, Xtandi worked for awhile, nothing with Xofigo and a few rounds of Jevtana didn’t help and caused problems, also had localized XRT - but had to have chemo to qualify for Pluvicto

hi, husband diagnosed 2017, lots of different treatments, none lasted very long. Including 2 different chemos, xtandi, casodex, etc radium 223 last year. We are in the UK, have now been told we have exhausted treatments under NICE guidelines and he’ll be offered pain relief under palliative care. He

Still affected by ICU stay
I think about the
Intensive
Care
Unit multiple times each day. No one understands when I try and talk with them about it. Their feeling is that I'm out of there now and to put it behind me however I am unable to. I find myself getting emotional out of nowhere.

Hello, my dear dad had CT scan in May, took 4 weeks for the results! T4 N3 M0. We ( dad, me and brother) left a little numb after first appt with respiratory consultant, our ‘ lay person’ research meant we thought it was stage3b with regional spread but uncertain about treatment options. Seeking advice re: end-of-life planning with family
Hello everyone – I am a 70-yr-old retired health care professional and writer; my EGFR has been in the low teens since 2019, and I have most of the challenges you would expect. As time goes by my renal status continues to deteriorate, and I’m not functioning as well as I used to in any area of my life

I gave up alcahol on July 4 th after being in
intensive

in Majorca for AFib! So I feel furious that the AFib is still lurking so much more than it was, even though now it’s much more tolerable.

Covid - Beware Getting Treatment
Finally at 1am a Doctor appeared and said we have the treatment but it can’t be issued from Urgent
Care
I wasn’t poorly enough and had to be admitted to
Intensive
Care
to get the treatment, told to come home and ring 119 at 9am. 119 aren’t in at a weekend and don’t deal with that anymore anyway.
