Palliative care only

Dear All

My appointment with my oncologist today went as expected but unhoped for.

To put it bluntly, she has told me that she has done all that she can do for me. All anti-cancer treatment is being withdrawn, leaving me with palliative care only. She thinks I might see some of 2024, but less of it than more.

I would like to thank you all for your support over the years, especially during my struggles to express myself through painting. That really has meant a lot to me. I hope to be able to post a few more, though I don't know what there subjects might be. We shall have to see.

I’m sorry to hear this Brent but as you say it was not unexpected. Don’t give up , what you’ve been told is an estimate not a definite, the will to live plays an important part for you now .
