Post Hysterectomy Advice
Hi lovelies, I’m 5 days post total
hysterectomy
and endo removal. I haven’t been given the full picture yet of what exactly was done (don’t even ask) but what I do know is I had a bowel and bladder shave.

HRT after Endo and full Hysterectomy
Hi 2 years ago I had a full
hysterectomy
following having stage 4 endo which was everywhere but mainly 15cm chocolate cyst on my ovary and stuck to my bowel. Resulted in me having bowel surgery at the same time as my
hysterectomy
with a temporary stoma.

Hello & help! Tocilizumab or Baricitinib?
I know everyone reacts differently to each drug but I’m just looking for some hope… Had Etanercept circa 8yrs, that failed after
hysterectomy
last Summer and since then I’ve never been so bad, not just pain and exhaustion, but feeling actually quite unwell.

Feeling lonely - first time posting
My mum (71) was diagnosed with stage 3b ovarian cancer just after Christmas last year, she had a successful
hysterectomy
surgery end of Jan and then started chemo mid March. She also has polycystic kidney disease which has lowered her kidney function considerably.

Carnivore….. massive success…feeling 20 years younger and less need to SI.
A letter soon followed for my two week appointment, letter headed gynaecology/oncology, I was in a state, I had had a
hysterectomy
10 years prior. Why didn’t they take the ovaries out. So they found a mass on my left ovary, WHAT my pain is on my right, have they got this wrong.

I had a full
hysterectomy
a year and a half ago and I'm not sure if that has affected anything, although my TSH has stayed at around the same level for ten years. My doctor lowered my Levothyroxine from 125mg to 100mg last August. Thanks so much in advance!

Utrogestan and endometriosis
Hi I take Utrogestan 100mgs per day and added the Oestrogel but the endo (I have 2 endometriomas in the one ovary they left behind after total
hysterectomy
in 2019) was flaring up and my IBS was getting out of hand (wind) so do I increase it to 200mgs?? Does anyone know??

I’m 60 years old and 10 days post-op - total
hysterectomy
, ovaries, cervix and the sentinel lymph nodes. I had breast cancer 4.5 years ago (lumpectomy and radiotherapy only - very lucky) and have been on tamoxifen since then. Due to finish tamoxifen in July 2024.

Tapering after surgery
On the 14th March I had a
hysterectomy
and pelvic floor repair. I was told to stop methotrexate for a while before surgery because it increases the risk of infection and told to double the prednisolone the day before, the day of the surgery and the day after then drop straight back to 3mg.

options after Caelyx
This has been the case since she was diagnosed (they thought a
hysterectomy
was possible but it had spread). She is now platinum resistant has recurring ascites. Currently she is on Caelyx and having a terrible time.
