Hi I take Utrogestan 100mgs per day and added the Oestrogel but the endo (I have 2 endometriomas in the one ovary they left behind after total hysterectomy in 2019) was flaring up and my IBS was getting out of hand (wind) so do I increase it to 200mgs?? Does anyone know??

Hi Maura, well, I'm still on 100mgs and one pump of Oestrogel. The endo seems to be doing well on those amounts but the problem is that I am not noticing many benefits of the Oestrogel just on one pump. I am going to increase it to 2 pumps, one in the morning one in the evening and see how that is. My IBS is still quite bad. I am so windy all the time. I feel like an old lady without much control over it :( I am taking Biomel Complete Gut as I saw someone else mentioned it. So far I think it is helping settle things down a bit in the gut but it's early days I think... I still haven't been seen by my endo consultant. I was hoping she might advise me but they cancelled her appointment due to the industrial action and I haven't been given a new one which is messed up. I might have to go to a private menopause clinic. Dr Newson's ideally but it's so expensive, I can't afford it 😪 How about you?

Ahh thank you for replying my stomach is just like yours I wonder is it the endo?I couldn't absorb oestrogel or any transdermal hrt enough but yet had awful bleeding and pain so I had to stop I was on a brillant combined pill with same oestrogen as hrt for 8 months it was magic but the pain came back so bad. was forced to stop.I feel so awful off it with menopause symptoms .Waiting to see a surgeon about the endo but have a long wait.My bones are in bits because it's premature ovarian insufficiency early menopause it went undiagnosed for 3 to 4 years. Its all crazy expensive
