My Wife’s story to help others. (Fibroids)
Although I was terrified I had a full
hysterectomy
. I had to have a vertical incision from my tummy button as I was comparable to 20 gestational weeks in size by the time of surgery. Thankfully everything was straight forward.

Chemo and RT for Endo?
I just had a
hysterectomy
for adenocarcinoma endometrial type. I lived with post menopausal bleeding and let fear get in the way of my diagnosis for 4 years prior to surgery.

Starting Doxil Soon. New to community.
Been through a complete
hysterectomy
, two cycles of Carbo/Taxol and several cycles of Avastin. Recent PET scan has activity on four lymph nodes. Oncologist has advised cancellation of Avastin and starting Doxil.

Fatigue and pelvic/leg pain. Any tips?
A dr once mentioned about "5 min
hysterectomy
" - removing the endometrium but even that drastic measure might not work because of my septum. I feel so down and hopeless. I know so many of you have it worse but i just dont know what more to do -another lap?

Septated cyst after total hysterectomy (ovaries too)
I had a
hysterectomy
a year and half ago and have felt amazing up until a few months ago. I’m gutted that this has happened, I have no details as to how this can happen other than what I’ve googled. Anyone have a experience with anything like this? Thanks

Pelvic Pain before and after a hysterectomy
I experienced pelvic pain from Sept 30-Jan 6. It was discovered on December 11th I had scar tissue attached to my bowel, abdomen, uterus, bladder and cervix. I went through the surgery Jan 6th. I am 7 months post surgery and now the pain is back. Especially in my bowel area and ovaries. Nothing

Xeloda or Taxol
I’ve had a double mastectomy and a complete
hysterectomy
, including my ovaries. My first treatment was Ibrance and Letrozole, which I had great success with and no side effects. I was NED for almost two years. Last July, I had spots show up on my liver. Talk about the wind leaving my sails!

19 years of age
I’m 19 and have adenomyosis and everyone is talking about having a
hysterectomy
... I really don’t know how to feel anymore I just feel numb from the pain mentally and physically. Also being induced into early menopause I feel really depressed about everything.

Forums to discuss having/not having children
Hi all, So I am in that horrible waiting and desision making time of trying for a child or having a
hysterectomy
. I am having counselling but wondered if there is a forum to discuss with others going through or it or to contact older ladies who don't have child either by choice or unable to.
