I am due a
hysterectomy
but have been told by consultant that 20% chance it won’t help with the pain, that the endometriosis on bowel will likely remain and there are other risks generally with the surgery.

The GPs are reluctantly removing the mirena for me but are flat out refusing
hysterectomy
, despite me not being able to have children (another possible symptom that has been psychologically damaging) and are just wanting to give me pills for the side effects rather than treating the problem.

I am in my mid forties and dr thinks is normal for me to go to menopause but my genes prooves opposite , my mom had still periods in her early 60s until she had a
hysterectomy
and my sister being 50 still has regular cycles.

Hysterectomy at 40 no endometriosis
I had my
hysterectomy
2 days ago and although I am in pain I'm feeling relieved 😌. My consultant has told me he has found no signs of endometriosis and that my uterus was severely scarred from my 3 c-sections and my coil that had been embedded in my uterus.

Have issues since hysterectomy
Hi ladies Hope you are all well.I'm 10wkop, due to endo and Adenomyosis, bowel and colon repair and a range of other health issues. Apologies if it's long, just got so many issues I'm a little worried and seeking help and advice. My recovery hasn't been straightforward. Yesterday I have vaginal bleeding

what would you do?
I had to have a full
hysterectomy
in 2019. I feel post menopausal now and different. I’m now medication free as I have been waiting many weeks for the next treatment to arrive, now it has (olumiant).

post-op bloating
hi, I have endometriosis and Adenomyosis and had a total
hysterectomy
about 8 weeks ago. The surgery was quite complicated and took a long time due to the amount of scar tissue that had to be removed.

infections caused by endo
As I’m on an urgent list for total
hysterectomy
, excision and bowel resection and as I’m post menopausal with endo and adenamyomas that is still growing fast, I took all my latest scan results and consultation letters and went in with an attitude of, I’m not here for you to fix me, I think I know what

Zoladex crippling back/hip pain
I’m on this for 6 months to get on the
hysterectomy
list, I’m starting to think it’s not worth it, I’d take the endo pain over this any day.

Full
hysterectomy
on October 5th 2021 and found it was stage 1 ovarian cancer and had 6 cycles of carboplatum. I am so so grateful and lucky to be out the other side. Oncologist says there's very very low risk of it ever coming back.

Zoladex -please tell me it gets better!
Also, has any else had a
hysterectomy
after Zoladex treatment? Did you find you could lose weight more easily after? I keep telling myself I need to be kind to myself right now but I feel frumpy and bloated.

Hysterectomy Consideration?
I’m considering a
hysterectomy
, I’m 34 but have had all the babies I want to have and the pain and bleeding is worse than it’s ever been now.

low grade serous ovarian cancer
hello I’m new to the group but I was diagnosed with low grade ovarian cancer in October 2020 and have since had a radical
hysterectomy
in December 2020 followed by 6 rounds of chemo starting in June 2021 which didn’t remove all the cancer I was given a course of letrozole but this didn’t work for me.

Hysterectomy in 20’s
I would love a
hysterectomy
as it would help solve a lot of other issues I have going on. My issue is I’m 27 with no children so the likelihood of being taken seriously for
hysterectomy
is slim to none.

I have had a
hysterectomy
in my forties for heavy periods and severe dysmenorrhoea. Later, in my fifties had laparotomy for suspected of ovarian cancer. Now there lies one huge problem! Years later a caring GP when I complained of abdo pain said let's test you for coeliac.
