Any advice or experiences
all, so I've just had an ultrasound and I have 2 cysts on both ovaries the biggest is 4cm and on the left side, but my right side is where I get the most pain (I'm in a lot of pain at the mo) I'm still waiting for my blood results, hopefully I'll hear from my specialist soon 🤞 as I'm waiting for a

Mid York’s BSGE referral and more
She won’t just perform a
hysterectomy
despite me being referred to her from another consultant gynaecologist suggesting this course of action.

Extreme endometriosis
Hi lovely ladies, I have recently been diagnosed with extreme endometriosis and am awaiting confirmation on having to have a full
hysterectomy
. I’m in quite a bit of pain, most of the time, and was wondering if anyone had any solutions to help?

I've lost all hope.
In the appt we discussed a
hysterectomy
as a long term solution for bleeding and I said I wanted to avoid if possible as my medication addressed any bleeding issues and I cant take HRT as I can't take estrogen (which was advised following blood work done prior to me starting the progesterone).

Whoa
Then in 2016, I almost bled to death was hospitalized, blood transfusions and had an emergency
hysterectomy
. 2018 on annual blood test noticed platelets were in 800,000’s. Doctor looked at 2017 test and platelets were in 700,000’s.

Endo after hysterectomy
I had a total
hysterectomy
and removal of ovaries and tubes 4 years ago. I’m in constant severe pain. I have 8 laxido a day, still backed up. My hips are stiff. I have back/groin/leg pain. Vomiting. Bowel obstruction symptoms and so tired! Anyone familiar with this? Is it endo?

Hysterectomy ✅
I had a successful total
hysterectomy
yesterday and slowly starting to feel like myself again. I had the spinal pain blocker and I don’t think I was prepared for coming round and not being able to feel or move my legs! In a little bit of pain now, but hopefully going home today to get some 💤.

My sister has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I'm new here so would appreciate any information given.
I believe that she is having four sessions then a full
hysterectomy
the two more sessions. She is having paclitaxel and carboplatin. I was reading earlier of CA125 levels. Hers was 325. Is that high? It seems so to me. She shaved her head two weeks ago, and I have to say she looks fab.

I had a complete
hysterectomy
Friday due to endometriosis, we thought it was on my bowel however the surgeon said my symptoms were caused by a floppy bowel which is most likely been caused by my ibs and that I need to be referred to a gastroenterologist for treatment etc , he didn't tell me what a floppy

"Focus" has left the room. How to get it back?
I'm scared silly - it's major surgery including a
hysterectomy
and removal of ovaries (with endometrioma) & fallopian tube (dilated, perhaps with Endo), as well as taking the appendix (Endo on that too) and Endo lesions, and a bowel shave for adhesions.

Violin string adhesions
Hi, I had a
hysterectomy
20 years ago after 2 years of a lot of pain. The gynecologist said its fibroids. When they operated they found my abdomen was all stuck together with what he described as violin string adhesions.

If you had a hysterectomy and/or oophorectomy- what was the trigger?
Hi, I have an appointment next week and try to anticipate what might be coming and prepare questions. It will be my first gynae appointment but I already have the MRI scan results via my GP. I have recto vaginal endo, my pouch of Douglas is full, I have DIE along my uterosacral ligaments, tethering
