Flow lessening towards the end of a wee.. having to push.
So I had a total abdominal
hysterectomy
three years ago in May. I’ve always had a pain in my right ovary area from a very young age... it was always put down to ovulation. After my surgery I assumed this would go away, it hasn’t.

Considering IVF - help!
Reposting from sometime around a week ago as no one responded :( So I have endometriosis and am 36, we have been TTC for about 2 years, I lose count sometimes. My AMH results are in and they're marked as low 5.6 pmol/L What does this mean? I've read up about it and found it so confusing because it

Pain 3 months post op
Hi I had a laparoscopic excision of severe endometriosis around the bowel and uterus area and a
hysterectomy
but with ovaries left in I had this done beginning of October 2020 so 3 months ago I’m worried as I’m still in constant pain since recovering from my operation my consultant initially said it

Abdominal hysterectomy to treat adenomyosis & Endo - anyone have experience to share?
As I wasn't expecting the call from my consultant I wasn't prepared for her suggestion that the best next step would be Abdominal
hysterectomy
to remove the uterus (leaving the ovaries) and back to prostap in the meantime. This has thrown me a bit.

Stressed & struggling
Spoke to endo consultant and forthcoming
hysterectomy
has now been delayed by between 6 & 12 months due to covid 😥😥. More zoladex injections & there side effects for a further 6 months after already having 6 months worth of these awful injections.

Wonderful 👏👏
Hysterectomy
. It’s great to hear positive feedback. On this site it a pleasure to hear from great wonderful and brave women and girls. Having these issues & injections so reassuring that we are not alone suffering such symptoms.

Synarel the alternative to Lupron/prostap - my opinion
I am awaiting a total
hysterectomy
and have been since Nov 2019 and hopefully this will be soon. Sadly, this is the only option for me.

Post op underwear
I'm planning ahead, not knowing when my
hysterectomy
will take place. :) What is the best underwear for post op? Are we talking about buying special undies or your regular underwear in a bigger size? Also, how much blood loss did you have in your surgical bleed?

Heavy ache/pain and Endo/Menopause
When symptoms came back after my laparoscopy and rather than have a
hysterectomy
, I was advised at 41 to have the Marina coil fitted. This has been great as it stopped my periods completely.

My Story . . . an update; progress, endo recurrence and the future
He suggested the lap means I'll be in my best health for family planning, so perhaps follow that for two years then see where I am and what we feel if all options have failed - this means whether I want a chemical menopause or a
hysterectomy
as I may feel differently by then; the endo will come back.

Vaginal prolapse women aged 51
Vaginal prolapse I have been diagnosed with, I have been waiting fir a
hysterectomy
for 2 years. I now have a large egg hanging out of me and I am in quite a lot of discomfort. Having seen and had lots of treatment from physio, rings etc I am on the waiting list.

Adenomyosis-treatment success stories....?
I'm aware that a
hysterectomy
is defined as the "cure" but I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has had symptom improvement using other methods. Thanks for your time ladies.. Gx

Navigating endometriosis naturally
Though the surgery butchered me, totally traumatised me, gave me all of the symptoms of endometriosis I hadn't had before and it took me 3 years to feel my pelvis again with the surgeon simply offering me a
hysterectomy
instead of checking for an infection because I still could not stand straight 2

How long were you swollen/bloated for after laparoscopic surgery?
I had a
hysterectomy
a few years ago to remove uterus, tubes, one ovary, appendix and a lot of endometriosis, I had a lot of other problems after that but I just don't remember all of this bloating. Just wondered about others experiences. Thanks.

Re: Soya Milk & Soy foods : plant estrogens (phyto-estrogens)
I was wondering if any of you vegetarians would know if it's safe to drink Soya Milk (or eat Soya mince), as I've been told that the Ovarian Cancer (Peritoneal Cancer) is hormone sensitive and was advised not to take HRT after I had a full
hysterectomy
(for treatment of O.C.).
