Slowly does it!
It was a follow up after finding cancerous cells during a
hysterectomy
. I weighed 87.7kg, which for me at 156cm was a little too heavy. The nurse very encouragingly (not) said that I’d never be able to lose any weight now! So, the challenge was set. 2 years 7 months later I have now lost 21kg.

Going NHS/ Private consult after hysterectomy..advice needed
As there were complications during the surgery they had to go and remove my uterus to stop the bleeding, so it turned out into a
hysterectomy
. (tubes are also out, but still have my overies) This is obviously big, but I am absolutely okay with that.

Hi I had a total
hysterectomy
a year ago - including ovaries, the whole lot. For a while I felt fine, then gradually struggled to breath, raspy throat, lack of energy, breathless, it got worse and was admitted to hospital.

MRI results show DIE behind uterus and and endometrioma.
Still in shock just home from hspt, been referred to MDT they are suggesting that my choices are full
hysterectomy
or excision surgery and the mirina. I'm 46 so guess menopause is near but hadn't noticed any symptoms but a surgical menopause seems abrupt.

Altruist
At age 36, I had severe endometriosis followed by an emergency
hysterectomy
. To manage sudden menopause symptoms, I used a compounded natural hormone replacement cream from yams. This was a combination of estrogen and other hormones in proper balance.

Senior lady bleeding after restarting HRT
In my youth I had severe endometriosis, infertility, and had a total
hysterectomy
35 years ago. I still have gastrointestinal problems because of adhesions . I started having vaginal bleeding a couple of days ago. I was so surprised.

BMI and "radical" endometriosis surgery
I'm also stressing about what is meant by "radical surgery" would this refer to something like a
hysterectomy
as I'm only 25, with no children and desperately want a family if it's possible.

just got my operation date
It’s finally hit me that it’s going to happen , seen my consultant she was not worried about my CA125 at 40 could be my normal, thought I may have had a twisted ovary when I got bad pain and went to A&E but as a lady of a certain age she wants to do a full
hysterectomy
and explained she wants it’s all

After your diagnosis of uterine cancer, how was your experience with the healthcare system?
Within 2 weeks of my diagnosis, I had a robotic assisted
hysterectomy
with removal of tubes, ovaries and multiple lymph nodes. When the pathology report came back, I was diagnosed with Stage 1A, which was confined to the uterus.

I’m due for a full
hysterectomy
- including removal of ovaries and tubes. I gave a coil fitted but it’s not very effective due to the size of my uterus due to my condition. I am getting menopause symptoms but I’m not allowed hrt due to coil and fibroids.

Endo 'Stroke'
I was offered a
hysterectomy
with bilateral oopherectomy after I saw the gynea after my initial laparoscopy but I declined. Oh how I should have said yes, I wouldn't be where I am now.

Back again more ranting
So I've been away from here for a while, I've been up since 3, I had a
hysterectomy
in march last year for the endo and they left my overies, which I think was stupid considering they said it was on one of them I was told, and I'm still experiencing pain a year on what more can they do??

Help needed....
I have to have incision site hernia surgery on a
hysterectomy
scar. My surgeon wants me to lose weight before I do. In Feb. I started Keto. I was scared straight about the hernia surgery. In one month I lost 18 lbs. THEN, my doctor scared me straight again.
