Endometriosis what’s next ?
Im fed up and don’t know what else to do next , I have a appointment in feb which I’m trying to get them to move forward but wondering what else there is for him to try, I have considered having a
hysterectomy
. As now my quality of life is so poor I just want to feel well and get on with my life .

Laparoscopic surgery for submucosal fibroid
I recently have been to an appointment with the gynae and was told the only surgical treatment for this type of fibroid is uterine ablation or
hysterectomy
and I am not sure I agree.

MMC surgical management risks
They've given me the options and I've elected to have surgical management as I thought this was the least traumatic but now I'm having second thoughts given that they've told me that although rare, risks include perforated uterus, and worse still
hysterectomy
. This is my worst nightmare.

Results of a hysterectomy going wrong Dr no longer able to practice
Eventually I was referred to have a
hysterectomy
as it was my only choice. I was 32 and had no children. When I went back for my check up I found my Dr was no longer available and then stopped from practice. Since the op I have had a number of issues.

Help with treatment option given!
My gynecologists has told me a
hysterectomy
is the only thing guaranteed to help but as I'm only 31 is reluctant to do it. I have 3 kids so I dont see why however he wants to try this first.

Prolia - here's my view, 2 shots, 6 months in
Also told him in 2002 I had to have an emergency
hysterectomy
at 37 and have been on oral HRT since for bones. He said Prolia, NOW! I said why?

Chronic pain, no diagnosis
He ruled out a
hysterectomy
claiming it rarely resolves pelvic pain and offered to refer me to pain clinic ( or as nurses call it hypochondriac anonymous). The scumbag actually smirked as I left in tears. I literally can think of no way to carry on like this.

Laparoscopy yesterday, no diagnosis, don’t know what to do?!
As I came round from my general anaesthetic laparoscopy yesterday my gynaecology consultant put photo on my Bed and told me it showed my “pristine uterus” Previously he told me it was a higher than 50% chance he wouldn’t find anything and that the next step is
hysterectomy
.

Not going to graduate this year
Does anyone have any experience of returning to running after a total laparoscopic
hysterectomy
? If I can’t run for 6-8 weeks, will I have to start all over again?

Pain during sex
My mother had endometriosis (eventually a
hysterectomy
) and my grandmother had endometrial cancer, so she thinks it’s worth checking for endometriosis. Since the diagnosis I’ve looked up symptoms; and found I have all of them (painful heavy periods and everything else on the NHS site).

HRT post hysterectomy
I’m about 12 weeks post total
hysterectomy
and I’m 42. They started me on Tibolone and it was great at first. My memory is terrible, I’m having these horrid episodes where I can’t think straight/concentrate. My moods are so up & down & I’m exhausted. I’m warm but not having hot flushes.
