I was in two minds if to write this post as I know how difficult it is to read these updates if you are still struggling. and the fact that I am still in shock at a positive result. But I would also like to share a story of hope. So some of you will know my history, we had success on our second ICSI

First 5 Tibetan Rites (7x) since Covid
First little exercise workout on my journey to return from latest Covid setback, and it feels great. I got surprisingly pretty sweaty quickly, just with these 5 minutes, but I felt strong. So aerobic fitness has suffered a bit the last week whilst in bed, but muscle strength and flexibility is all

Liver detox after chemo?
I am starting Taxotere next week and received some advice from a friend fighting serious colon cancer. He told me how he detoxed his liver after each cycle. He used TUDCA Bile salts and PectaSol from ECONugenics Company. https://econugenics.com/collections/pectasol?Wickedsource=Microsoft&Wickedid

Any advice or thoughts appreciated! Trying to keep cirrhosis in check despite hospitalization for very serious pneumonia
Hello all. I was diagnosed with alcoholic cirrhosis a year and a half ago. Had stopped drinking a few months before, but the damage was done. I was in terrible shape but with a great doctor and 100% commitment to my nutrition and lifestyle was compensated and on minimum maintenance follow up. I was

Is it just me !
So I had a viral infection in March and pneumonia that sent me into a really bad flare up of symptoms and I'm currently still in this flare up . Whenever I get any sort of infection it sends me into a flare of symptoms. I also had COVID in September which may be contributing to why my flare up is lasting

OAB Fluid intake important
Hi. Thanks for sharing your story. I’d like to add or expand here about fluid intake. I’ve just stopped the solifenacin after only a few weeks as I’ve developed breathing issues and hot clammy forehead I was still getting up 3-4 times a night which was an improvement on 6-7 times My Urology Consultant

Coping in the heat
Hi, i have finally got a diagnosis of ET and have started on pegasys, fourth injection this week. It has been warm here the last couple of days and I have found work to be extremely exhausting. Does anyone else suffer in the heat? I work in a lab so need to wear a labcoat. I have asked for an occupational

Has prevnar13( pneumonia vaccine ) caused a trigger for people with existing inflammatory conditions?
I’m an autoimmune vasucliits patient . My inflammation in the eye was relatively managed well with immunosuppressants. But since having the Prevnar 13 , my inflammation is back in full swing . Has anyone experienced this ? If so, how have you resolved it ? Please advise .

Hi All, We are still waiting to start our treatment after being referred for ICSI in August this year. I have severe asthma which bag at 40 yr old I’m now 62. I have lots of medications tablets and inhalers etc I’m currently awaiting further tests to check copd and possible suitability for biologics. The only thing that really helps well is steroid tablets which I have at big flare ups from time to time

Pneumonia Vaccine - Who Can Have it?
Hi everybody, it’s been a bit of a tough 10 days. Things have been going well but a week last Thursday I started getting flashes in my left eye and loads of floaters, optician referred me and went to hospital to have laser treatment on some retinal tears, because the NHS have difficulty managing appointments

Covid and flu jab
What’s the experience of anyone who has taken covid vaccination and flu jab at the same time? I have heard(whether it be true or not), that having the jabs 2 or 3 weeks apart could mean feeling less poorly etc. What’s been the experience out there, especially for those who have had jabs(covid and flu

Think I've made a big mistake over flu vaccine!
The short story is that I got the flu vaccine in France from the pharmacist as I wasn't well enough to have it at administered at the time. I took it with me in the car to Spain and it was administered at the pharmacy on Saturday. That was 15 days later. I did not realise until yesterday that it should
